Yummyslice Pizza — Restaurant in Surrey

Welcome to my comprehensive review of Yummy Slice Pizza.

My partner had received coupons for this location which were excellent deals, about 50% off of three different sized pizzas. We decided to use them all to purchase: Tandoori Paneer Pizza, Butter Chicken Pizza, Deluxe Pizza and for extra, the Garden Pesto. I also ordered pasta (The "Creamy Italian") to sample.

I must say, that I am very picky about pizza. I usually end up feeling slightly ill after one slice simply due to the amount of cheese. At Yummy Pizza, the pizza is ACTUALLY yummy. The whole pizza is consistently balanced with great flavours. Out of the four, my favourite was the Tandoori one. I also want to try the chipotle and BBQ ones.

The pasta was absolutely delicious, way higher quality than what I was expecting. Because of my experiences here, and the proximity to my apartment, I'll be going to Yummy Slice again. They are extremely good, and the fact that they also offer pizza by the slice is a huge plus if you just want a nice snack.

I do have some complaints about this location. It has big windows and catches all the light, so it becomes significantly hotter inside than it is outside. I went on a moderately warm day, and it was so hot inside Yummy Slice that it was hard to be in there. It's nice that the staff have a giant fridge to stand in, but I feel bad for them and the customers. I think it would make sense to at least add a window A/C unit above the door.

Lastly, I think the staff could use a little more help. Twice my orders were prepared late, one of those times there were many customers who appeared to have been waiting awhile. In addition, I once went to Yummy Slice late at night. There was a staff member alone in there who, in this area, should not be alone.

Ordered a medium pizza yesterday. She asked my wife on the phone if we had a coupon which I thought was weird as the guy did give us physical ones last time we ordered. Do they make the pizza differently? This one came in a white box instead of the black and yellow box it usually comes in

However the medium pizza we got only had 6 slices. Any time I've had a medium there was slices leftover. It seemed very small to me this pizza and not true to size. The cheese bread order was extremely small as well. Not regular size breadsticks. A medium pizza for reference should have 8 slices but this one only had 6 small ish ones maybe because I used a coupon not sure

I'm not sure if the value is there. Taste was fine

The other issue is there was people doing crack and drugs smoking right in front of the door when went to pickup. I don't want to be dealing with that

Ordered 2 lasagna with extra ,extra,extra cheese on TOP. And a pizza. The lasagna did NOT come with garlic bread so we had to PAY extra for cheese bread, when I picked it up in store there were a few ppl hanging out around the door very high on something. I stepped on a Crack pipe thank goodness I wasn't in sandals. Got the food home to pull out the lasagna and the box itself as well as the edges of the lasagna are burnt. The pasta wasn't lasagna noodles it was noodles and the cheese cheese cheese topping .. NON existent. I called them to say they didn't put the cheese on top there's non there...said yes there is.. umm nope! So I took pictures and he was nice enough but I had to drive back to once again step on that same Crack pipe. He was supposed to return my money same way I paid...
