La Conquistadora Mexican Restaurant. — Restaurant in Surrey

Came in to their new location after years (the last location they were at provided us with horrible service and bad quality food).

We went, expecting that a new place meant better service and food. We were greatly disappointed...

When we walked in we were greeted with the owners friendly face (good start), the place had a weird smell to it (we thought it may be a customer, until almost everyone left we realized it was the actual restaurant... I smelled like something was rotting) we sat down and didn't have to wait for our pupusas to come out (we ordered ahead). We started eating and when we looked at the table beside us, it was being set by the waitress and the napkins were disgustingly dirty. I don't know how the waitress didn't realize she was placing dirty napkins...

We will never be coming to this place again. It was filthy, smelled really bad... the only good thing was the owners friendly service...

Sorry guys but you had a chance to gain 3 really good customers but you lost them.

Not to advertise this place but if you want good pupusas, go to Los Guerreros in Langley. Good, clean place even though it's small. // Llegamos a esta nueva ubicación después de años (el último lugar en el que estaban nos dio un servicio horrible y comida de mala calidad).

Fuimos, esperando que un nuevo lugar significara un mejor servicio y comida. Nos sentimos muy decepcionados ...

Cuando entramos, el dueño nos recibió con la cara amable(buen comienzo), el lugar tenía un olor extraño (pensamos que podría ser un cliente, hasta que casi todos se marcharon nos dimos cuenta de que era el restaurante... olía como si algo se estuviera pudriendo) nos sentamos y no tuvimos que esperar a que salieran nuestras pupusas (ordenamos con anticipación). Comenzamos a comer y cuando miramos la mesa a la par de nosotros, la camarera la estaba colocando servilletas estaban asquerosamente sucias. No sé cómo la camarera no se dio cuenta de que estaba colocando servilletas sucias ...

Nunca volveremos a este lugar otra vez. Estaba sucio, olía realmente mal ... lo único bueno era el servicio amable de el dueño ...

Lo siento chicos, pero tuvieron la oportunidad de ganar 3 buenos clientes, pero los perdieron.

No es por darle propaganda, pero si quieren buenas pupusas, vayan a Los Guerreros en Langley. Buen lugar, limpio, y buen servicio a pesar de...

A group of us went from lunch at this place, is not a big place but it's clean and they took our order quickly, then we waited for about 40 mins for the food to arrive, it arrived separately and slowly. One of our dishes was dropped by the waiter unto one of us, sour cream everywhere on that person. Nothing was said or done about it, we were just handed paper towels and they brought out a broom to clean the floor, that person still paid full price for their meal and it took another 10 mins to wait for a new dish to be made. The food was sub standard, the beans are rice were flavorless and looked boring, the quesadillas were very salty. Overall, we would very likely not to back there, sad as there are some interesting items...

I have ordered take out from La Conquidadora twice now, after my first meal I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the fried taco dish was. I ordered the same thing the second time, it definitely wasn’t close to the flavour of the first meal (1 week apart) Pretty disappointed, the oil on the fried tacos tasted like it was old. The fried tacos are pretty small but the second time around they were even smaller, the salad was non-existent, the bit of lettuce below the fried tacos was going bad. Not sure if I would try ordering again from this restaurant. To top it off when ordering they charge $1.50 extra to have the meal vegetarian, which doesn’t make sense usually the cost of meat is more than a...
