Curry Town Fine Authentic Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Swift Current

In person, pickup, or with a third party delivery this place is great. Good food and friendly staff. Typically, I'd give five stars.

Ordered delivery directly through their website earlier in the day. Delivery time came and went. We gave them an extra 15 minutes since they may be busy. Called to enquire and was told the driver had our food, is already on the way, and will be there in a few minutes. A half-hour later the driver shows up with the food a mixture of lukewarm and cold items. We were warned by others to avoid their own delivery service as their food had been an hour late and cold when they ordered a few weeks ago, but we went for it anyway. The bag was marked by hand that it was delivery and the correct time, but ended up being 45 minutes late. Due to the food sitting for so long what would have been excellent was mediocre at best.

I would have given a higher rating if the person I spoke with on the phone was honest about their delivery driver or if the food was still warm/fresh.

From the moment we walked it we new it was going to be the best Indian cuisine for miles.. the smell was heavenly! Our waitress, Jaideep, was exceptional! So friendly, very cheerful and helpful with helping us with our order. We even got to hear about her journey here to Canada and shared our journey to swift current from Ontario!

The food was amazing, I cannot wait to have my left overs for lunch tomorrow 😋 we will absolutely be back on our way home! So many options for all taste buds, and they ask how spicy you'd like your meal as well which was so nice since we had our 10y.o with us and has sensitivities to spicy food.

Curry Town is excellent! We were warmly greeted and the seats and tables are clean and fresh looking. The decor is modern and nice and restaurant feels well-cared for. The menu is extensive and has many favourites on it. We ordered poppadoms, fish pakoras, shrimp curry, garlic naan bread, fish curry and peas pulao rice. I’d say the fish curry had unspeakably amazing flavour, the shrimp curry was outstanding- creamy, rich and a good serving size. Everything we ate was delicious. The staff are friendly and caring. My only criticism was that after asking for my shrimp curry to be made spicy, and being cautioned by the waitress to be careful, the food was what I’d describe as mild.
