My wife and I have been making montanas, our destination, each Monday since 4 months or more. Always friendly staff and the food was always good. Mostly we choose montanas because Monday night the wings are 10 bucks. The staff are all awesome and in fact know what we drink and most of the time can predict our orders. We always tip them very well as they are awesome at thier jobs!!! Our bills will run 120 to 180 dollars for the evening as we usually are with our children or siblings. We Generally order things like steak, burgers, ribs, salads and dip as well as a take out everytime so not just starters. We were advised that as of tonite we can only order 2 orders of wings not 3 . Im shocked the manager took issue with our business and clearly was not interested in keeping it. My wife and I were both embarrassed by the news . The waiter apologized but not his fault as he was told this by the manager. We spent roughly 500 to 600 a month there with our routine Monday. Sadly it will end tonight.
Blown away!!!
Update ...returned to the same Montana s on this date. We were seated and a waitress came to take our drink orders. We ordered 2 large pepsi . She also took our food order. She ordered 3 orders wings and a spin dip and I ordered 3 orders wings and antojitos. The waitress took our order and completed taking our order by saying "you can't take wings home with you anymore". So take our order , serve us , and give us a bill to pay. Any left overs the restruant owns. This is un believable. Cant make this shit up. 18 months or so since we were here . Tonight I will spen over 100 dollars with tip. Montanas surely will never see another penny of...
Read moreWent out for supper with a few friends. Ordered the buttermilk chicken plate as I had it in the past and really enjoyed it. The mashed potatoes were delicious, as were the vegetables. The chicken was unfortunately not of great quality, had the texture of synthetic processed chicken. I ended up feeling nauseated after the meal. The hostess who brought us to our table was very friendly. The service from our server was suboptimal. A few mistakes were made concerning our orders and our billing, which I understand happens from time to time, but it seemed like it was one thing after another. The server seemed very uncomfortable in their position and anxious while taking our order, I felt bad for them. My friend ordered a pint of beer and the server did not understand what he had asked for. It was awkward service. Lastly, we sat at a booth near the back wall of the restaurant. There was a thick layer of dust on the edge around the wall which was very unsettling while we were trying to eat. This is an area that should be wiped down regularly as tables are being cleaned. Two of my friends were at eye-level with said dust. I am sorry to leave such a poor review, but I felt these issues needed to be mentioned as none of us were considering returning after...
Read moreTwo years ago we went to Montanas for my wife's birthday. Food was good, nice size portions. We went there a couple more times and then switched to take-out. It was fine for a while. I should mention my wife loves the dusted onions. Then something changed. The size of the portions changed. The coleslaw didn't matter but the dusted onions portion was cut in half. Wife not happy. She said to me either they had new staff or new management. We found out it was new management. Next time we ordered she asked for two servings of dusted onions. Did not get them. Stopped going to Montanas. May 24th was my wife's birthday and she wanted to try again. Our usual order was unavailable so she ordered steak for both of us, garlic mashed, coleslaw, two servings of dusted onions, and since I am celiac, mushrooms for me. I picked up the order. Upon opening up the bag, my wife got her steak, garlic mashed, coleslaw and ONE serving of dusted onions. I got my steak, garlic mashed, coleslaw and dusted onion. I cannot eat dusted onions due to celiac. There were no mushrooms. Fortunately, there are other restaurants with good food and service. We'll be...
