Tried again for quick birthday meal pizzas.
Soggy dough, not cooked enough on bottom, still white. You figure the 7 or 8 guys back there would check for quality control. Cheap on the toppings only toppings visible were the bacon bits and uncooked mushrooms, where is the peperoni? Uneven cut slices. Lukewarm pizzas,I live two minutes away and transported them in a pizza bag.
Pizza is only as good as the ingredients and the person preparing and cooking the pizza....more than half a dozen guys back there and the pizzas were substandard, honestly comparable to Domino's. Maybe the good pizzaiolo was off again. They should tell you who is going to make your pizzas when you order. As far as begging for tips at checkout, why would anyone tip "before" you eat your takeout pizza? Do you tip a server before you eat your meal? NO!....You tip on the service you get during your meal and quality of the food. Servers can't control food quality..pizza makers can..bad pizza no tip, good pizza and tip, allow me to tip after I eat my pizza.
Every time I order a pizza from anywhere, they mess up the toppings...how difficult is it to read a chit and follow what's on it. Ordered Italian sausage on my pizzas, they gave me ham instead. If they were out of Italian sausage they should have mentioned it when I ordered...don't just replace a topping for me. Pizza's were ok,but crust was dry and pizza wasn't very hot and dough was floppy.....,can't hold it with one hand without toppings all sliding off. I don't know what went...
Read moreI've gradually been more and more disappointed everytime I order from Naples, whether it be due to their lack of attention to detail in part due to the fact that they hire incompetent teenagers to run the place when their priorities, clearly, are not their job or the pizzas they are paid to make. In an attempt to order a pizza for my coworkers, we decided to try Naples since we had ordered elsewhere the previous week. I had two brief conversations with the lady at the Tecumseh location, and they went as follows:
N: Thank you for calling Naples C: Hi, can I place an order for delivery ..... Few moments of silence N: Huh?! C: (Spoken slowly and clearly) Can I please place an order for delivery? N: *Hangs up the phone
I was taken back by the unprofessionalism, and unfortunately after having called the other locations, I was told that I had to order from the Tecumseh location. The second attempt at ordering was just as unsuccessful as my first, and was an almost identical conversation, except the woman immediately, and seemingly purposefully, said HUH?! even louder when she apparently couldn't hear me say "I'd like to place an order for delivery".
This particular location doesn't deserve business, and I will be ademeant at making sure others are aware of their inexcusable behaviour...
Read moreWe ordered a pizza from Capital City Co. because we saw their sign that said #1 pizza in town and let me tell you, this pizza does not disappoint! Upon pickup, the guys at Capital City were friendly and let me know my pizza had just been sliced, fresh from the oven. They included a couple of garlic dipping sauces because it was our first order. Nice touch, thanks. When we got the pizza home it was still hot and surprised to see how loaded our pizza was with cheese and toppings. The finely slivered pepperoni was perfectly crispy on the ends and I never realized that’s how I would like it best. I have to say, one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! I won’t be ordering from our usual pizza place (Antonino’s) anymore, as I always find it a bit dry and overcooked, with crust that’s a bit on the thin and chewy side. Please give Capital City a try, you won’t be...
