Wild Wing — Restaurant in Temiskaming Shores

We placed an order last night Sept. 3rd at around 9:30pm. For pick up using your online website.

Our order was ready on time, hot and fresh. I was greeted by the bartender who promptly went to the back to check on my order. Pack it all up, which was a large order, and present it to me with a smile. She was courteous, polite and genuinely wanted to ensure I had a good experience. As I was waiting at the bar, the server came, checked on me and also went to the back to check in on my order. Both seemed to actually care. This is so rare in todays world.

The food was excellent. Wings were amazing. We had the traditional breaded. Lemon pepper. They were crispy and delicious. The poutine was outstanding. My wife is French and it was amazing. Lots of curds and the correct gravy, slightly salty. Perfect. The combo platter was good. Plentiful. Cheesecake tasty. My only thing I would say is that the quesadilla needs to have a better distribution of cheese but I’m being picky at this point. As it was stuffed full of ingredients. Not cheap like some places.

We travel through here regularly to go to Quebec. This was our first visit and we will be back again.

I don't even know where to start, overall such a terrible experience. Chose this restaurant to take my mom out for her 50th birthday dinner and that was beyond ruined. Took 40 minutes for my mom to get a coffee. The waitress didn't even punch our food in and we were already waiting 30 minutes for our food before she told us she didn't punch it in. By the time they decided to bring us food, nobody got their food together. One person got theirs, 20 minutes later my mom got hers and we waited an additional 30 minutes for my boyfriend to get his, which we ended up taking to go because at that point we were so disappointed and our meal was ruined. The manager ended up coming over and telling us that the waitress didn't even punch in my boyfriends food. Taboot once the food started to arrive we had to ask fot utensils and continued to wait 10 minutes for those and salt&pepper which we didn't even get. Prior to even going to the restaurant I called to inquire about boosters or high chairs (for my 2 year old) and they told me on the phone that they had some, to get to the restaurant and be told otherwise. 1st time here & we’ll definitely be back. Decor was great & the Staff was excellent. The best wings I’ve had in years. I’m not normally a fries person but OMG were they tasty. The list of sauce choices is a bit overwhelming but I picked a definite winner Oh Canada, Maple BBQ. Yummy! They include celery & carrot sticks, which are more like logs, but fresh like they were just cut. Carrot & celery sticks is a definite palette cleanser between wings & I enjoyed them. Our waitress was possibly the most cheerful person I’ve ever met & was excellent. This restaurant is a gem & it was so refreshing to find a place that is maintained so well.
