Unfortunately, my experience here today was less than satisfactory. We were a group of 67 (we had reserved for 64 people at least two months ago).

We reserved for 1pm and we were not served appetizers before at least 2:30-3pm. We were given bills for drinks before getting food. And we were not all served both appetizers. Once the main meal arrived, we were disappointed with the quality of certain dishes (pork loin that tasted of frozen ham; a weird white rice dish) and by the fact that everything was counted to the last portion.

By 4pm, some of our party decided to leave without dessert. Since everything was counted, we had some extra dessert. There were 4 pieces of cake left at my table and I asked to take them home. The waiter said that wasn't a problem as long as he got to take a piece. I thought he was joking to lighten the mood! Upon his return, there were only 3 pieces of cake!

While I understand that it is not the waitstaff's fault, we were told that the 3 extra people to our reservation and the fact that they had another group of 30 made it difficult to serve us efficiently.

Firstly, 3 extra people out of a 64 reservation should not be an issue: we all paid.

Secondly, if you can't handle 2 large groups, don't confirm for 2 large groups!

Location and setting is very nice. I will have to come back just to sit in the terrasse right by the river. The place is your typical old building decorated in the over-used rustic style you now find everywhere. Nothing amazing but still cozy and comfy. The service is very nice. Staff is friendly and they know their menu. The sell it and explain it perfectly. Ordered a bottle of white that was not chilled at all. Big no-no. White wine in 95% of cases is served very cold. Anyway, the food was interesting. Not exceptional but interesting. Some items were great, some others very ordinary. The bill is steep. This is not a cheap place! I feel like for the price, 3 stars would be unfair but no doubt 4 stars is too much. Like I said, great location that I really wanna try outside, on the terrasse probably for some small plates and oysters and some hopefully...

When I made the reservation through your website, I was very specific in requesting a table by the lake. I took time to include that detail because it was important to our group. Upon arrival, I was told it's 'first come, first serve' and that tables by the lake are limited to four guests—even though we were five. I’m just wondering why the website asks about special requests if they’re not considered or honored. I would really appreciate some clarification on how requests are handled in the future. In addition, I was surprised to find that the only menu offered at noon was brunch. I had expected to be able to order lunch items like steak, salads, or something more substantial—not just eggs, breads, and sausage. It would’ve been helpful to know that in advance when making the...
