Bygs Smoked Meat — Restaurant in Terrebonne

As a frequent customer who lives just down the street, I can confidently say Bygs is one of the best spots in Old Terrebonne. Last night was a perfect example of why I keep coming back. I got off work late and walked in around 7:45 PM. It was clear the staff were beginning their cleanup, preparing to close—but you’d never know it from the service I received.

I was greeted with a genuine smile, and without hesitation, they whipped up a quick sandwich and a poutine for me. No complaints, no rush—just friendly, professional service. The food, as always, was hot, freshly made, and absolutely delicious. It’s that consistency and hospitality that makes this place such a standout.

Small portions and too pricey. $3.25 for a bottle of pepsi that costs $1 @ Dollarama. A regular smoke meat sandwich (with not a lot of meat in it), a small poutine and a pepsi... $27!! BTW, no napkins in the take out bag.0

I'm not sure what makes you say that you are an upscale place. It looks like a regular saloon style corner resto. Not bad but not upscale. Maybe you're a big fish in a small pond over in Vieux Terrebonne and continued success to you but I stand by my review. A pretty small restaurant in a small pretty town of Montreal - Terrebonne. The town is 30 km away from Montreal DT but it is quite and nice looking. The smoke meet is delicious and fresh.
