Subject: Disappointing Experience at Pizza 73 – 5240 199 St NW, Edmonton Dear Pizza 73 Team, I’ve been a loyal customer for over a year, but unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at your location at 5240 199 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6M 0E4. I recently ordered an XXL Shawarma pizza, and during my order, the cashier informed me that I could choose three additional toppings. I chose onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes. However, when I got home, I discovered that the pizza I received was a vegetable pizza, with no shawarma on it at all. I called customer service right away, and they asked me to return to the store to have my order fixed. When I went back, the cashier was not only unhelpful but also extremely rude. She insisted that I had ordered a vegetable pizza and repeatedly told me I was mistaken, despite my clear request for a Shawarma pizza. I even suggested she check the camera footage. Her attitude was disrespectful and dismissive, saying things like “[she] was awake too and [she] knows what [I] said,” as if implying I was lying or confused. This caused significant inconvenience and made me late for my Sunday family dinner. I called customer service again and spoke with a supervisor, who advised me to go back once more for a refund. I did receive the refund on my second visit, but again, the cashier’s behavior was unprofessional and demeaning. I was treated as if I didn’t deserve basic respect as a customer. To be honest, this was the first time I’ve had such a negative experience. Other employees I’ve dealt with in the past have been polite and helpful. However, this incident has left me with a very poor impression of this particular location. I believe this employee requires proper customer service training and guidance from the manager or owner on how to treat customers with respect and professionalism. Horrible service , I ordered 2 L pizzas . I drove to pick them up , stood waiting for 5 min before anyone even came to the front . Once they did the girl was nice . I got home and the one pizza under the top one was made wrong . I called to get it remade , and they delivered it but charged me to bring it to me , after I had already went there , and it wasn’t my mistake . I then got the replacement and paid for the delivery Anyways . I got back up to my place and opened the box , ONCE Again , made wrong !!!! They also put some Dairy cheese on it , and I can not have dairy , plus the messed up the toppings again . I called back and requested the proper pizza , and they said they would give a 10.00 credit .. which doesn’t cover a Large 3 topping pizza. The store refused to bring me the correct pizza , I ordered at 7:20 pm , and it’s 9:27 and still haven’t gotten the write order . So now I must email pizza 73 . For a refund . I order pizza online from their app, wait around 1 hour for the delivery but it never arrived, so I called customer support to inquire and they tells me that they delivered it but I never received it. Customer service asks me email them which I did right away and this is their response: Thank you for your inquiry regarding a contactless order made with Pizza 73. I've reviewed your order and notes left by the shop and their delivery driver, which states that your order was delivered. The driver attempted to reach out to you by knocking on the door several times, as well as rang the doorbell, but no one answered the door to which the order was left on the doorstep, as is the standard with contactless orders.
