A&W Canada — Restaurant in Thunder Bay

Well I tried again hoping that last time was a fluke. I got a Mama Burger and my first bite was burnt charcoal flavour. The whole one side was burnt. I order it with no season salt so I'm guessing it was rinsed off and precooked on the one side. I WILL NOT WASTE MY MONEY ANYMORE. The seagulls got my Burger because it was not edible to me.....

Update March 3. The food was a little more than warm but not hot. The attendant gave our order to the other customer waiting and he gave us theirs. If the bag was opened and he handled the food (which he did), I saw him pick up my hamburger and look at it and it went back in the bag, then took out Cody's chicken buddies and put them back in the bag - the whole order should have been remade. His gorgeous dog was very interested in the food. Cody has a booming voice - thank goodness because the employee was almost back at the building by the time he heard him and the other customer was pulling out to leave..... I worked as a waitress for many years and would never take food and redeliver any food. It was classified as dirty if you took it to someone else's table even if they hadn't touched it. DISGUSTING!@@

Update: I really hate getting cold food or food that's been under a warmer waiting for the next customer. I always preferred to go to A&W, and some friends would complain because it takes longer than golden arches.... I always said, but it's cooked when you order it - not cooked and set under a warmer for you to get there. I would order delivery if I wanted cool to cold food. So DISAPPOINTED

I went here order 4 buddy burgers kids meals with cheese and had to pay for adult meals then when i asked why the drinks were so big did kids meals it took 5 minutes to be refunded but not fully i paid with debit and then i was given $15 back in cash for all I know the guy stole money from me and was told he couldn’t understand me. Then I was sent out of the drive threw to while I was waiting I was complaining to someone in my car that this whole thing was was insane the same guy came outside and told me it was inappropriate to complain about their service and wouldn’t leave my car for me to leave so I got extremely upset and my passenger had to yell for him to get away from my car. I will never come to this location ever again!!! I am allowed to be upset for him calling me a liar, telling me I don’t speak properly when my first language is English and trying to hold me against my will!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN will i...

We ordered the new churros that were advertised as $2.99. Realized the bill said $3.29. Told the lady that served us that it was advertised for less and even showed her. She was rude and didn't immediately offer a refund when I told her I'd like the advertised price. The rudeness bothered me to press her on the fact that I was serious and either wanted the difference back or a refund. She replied with "Fine, I'll give you .30 cents" sarcastically like it was pathetic for me to ask. (I obviously didn't care about having an inconvenient .30 cents in my pocket, but I certainly don't like rude servers or being scammed with false advertising. Usually it's free when you catch them scamming you, but instead I was just an inconvenience to their terrible business practices. Customer satisfaction has definitely went down...
