K first off, I went at 11:30pm & my beyond meat burger & fries were hot, fresh, delicious. But that’s like the least important part. This guy taking orders for the drive thru, is the G.O.A.T. fast food employee.
I order, that’s fine- you know that’s straight forward. But I get to the window, I pay. And this dude starts chatting with me about what I’m up too. I’m like well I’m actually heading to the hospital for like a non-emergency emergency type situation. He’s like “CAN I HELP YOU”. Like this man is out here working, and he’s like you seem to be in a less than fab situation, how can I help. And it wasn’t like he just threw that out once, he asked me three times if I was actually chillin.
I’m literally just passing through Thunder Bay, but you better believe I’m going to remember the best customer service I have ever received from a fast food establishment. Honestly. It’s up there with some of the best customer service I have ever received period.
Like my dude, I spent 3 years working at McDonald’s. I didn’t even strike up conversations like that with the regulars I liked. And then on top of all that I’m driving away happy as a clam and my food is top notch. Give this man a promotion, make him customer service trainer of the world. Thunder Bay, full of surprises.

Read moreTerrible experience today. We took our grandkids for lunch and the girl taking the order messed up. Supposed to be plain buddy burgers with cheese. No problem brought them back to be corrected then they came to our table with no cheese. Back to the counter only to have the MANAGER LAURIE WOOD snarled at me that we didn’t pay for cheese. I said I would pay for the cheese, she grabbed the tray from me to send it to the back. Mentioned several times that they lost twelve burgers to waste. However I could see the girl working in the back, she put cheese on my six returned burgers and then said to someone else that she would put them under the warmer to melt the cheese(nice staff member). MANAGER LAURIE WOOD again and very loudly said to the girl who rang the order in that she lost 12 burgers to waste which I corrected that it was 6 she lost to waste. We finally got the correct burgers, kids ate, we were already done, the young woman who took our order came to the table to ask if everything was okay and apologized. I said that it wasn’t her, mistakes happen that it was the other woman, she was so very rude. I asked the rude ones name to be told she was the manager. LAURIE WOOD the MANAGER of your establishment is the rudest woman and should not be allowed front end contact with customers. It has turned me off...
Read moreThis is a great place to get good fast food, quickly. I have been at this location twice, and I have ordered a few times at each visit. I found that large orders are filled very quickly; by the time that we chose our seats, our food was either ready, or not far from being ready.
The attendants are always very pleasant, patient, and helpful. They look to go that extra-mile to help you when they can. They make sure that you are happy and even bring your food to you if they have time to do that. This restaurant has a very warm and friendly atmosphere.
I thoroughly enjoyed my visits to this particular restaurant, and I look forward to future opportunities to eat there. I will eagerly recommend this location to my family and friends. It is hard to think of a better compliment.
My only criticism is that the stall in the men's washroom needs a new door that will stay closed without needing to be locked so that people can more easily move within this rather small washroom. In addition, touchless faucets would be an...
