One of the Worst Experiences Ever – Horrible Food and Unprofessional Behavior I had one of the most disappointing and upsetting experiences at this restaurant. I ordered chicken momos and not only were they completely substandard in taste and quality, but they also appeared stale and poorly prepared. The texture was off, they were overly greasy, and the filling was bland and suspiciously off-tasting. Definitely not fresh, and absolutely not worth the money. But what made the experience even worse was the unacceptable and shocking behavior of the restaurant owner. When I politely went back to the restaurant to raise a complaint about the poor quality of the food, instead of addressing the issue professionally, the owner started shouting at me and treated me with complete disrespect. This is no way to treat a customer, especially one who is just trying to give honest feedback.

But the first bite of the Chicken Momos didn’t taste fresh at all. Concerned, I politely informed the staff. I explained that we didn't want to wait longer and asked if a refund was possible. The staff member said refunds aren't allowed but offered a replacement dish instead, which I appreciated. After a couple of minutes, the owner (an elderly lady) came out and asked me the same questions again. I calmly repeated my concerns, but instead of listening, she raised her voice and insisted their food is always fresh and never frozen — unlike "other restaurants." I kept my tone polite and reminded her we’ve been coming here for years and had no complaints until now. Eventually, she agreed to replace the momos with Chana Bhatura and asked me to wait 10 minutes. But just 2 minutes later, she came back again asking what was wrong with the momos — for the third time. I said, “I've already explained twice — would you like me to repeat it again?” That’s when she suddenly started yelling at me in front of other customers, acting very aggressively. I was shocked. I calmly said we’ve enjoyed many dishes here before, including the momos, but this one didn’t feel right. Instead of offering customer service, she shouted, “I’m not giving you anything. Get out! There’s no replacement!” and even added, “Go post on Google. I’ll reply to you there.” For a $12 dish, she chose to lose a loyal customer and treated me in a way that felt extremely discriminatory. She looked me up and down and made a judgment based on my appearance and nationality. It was truly the first time in Canada I experienced such rude and racist behavior at a restaurant. Customer service is not just about the food — it’s also about how you treat people. I hope this review helps others know what to expect.
I didn’t get my money back and she threw the Momos in front me in a very egoistic way saying we don’t keep it it’s waste for us.
Promising for replacement and then not giving also no refunds.. she said on my face get out and do whatever you want to .. I will not give you money and food.. my money .. which I paid for the poor food and never getting them back..me as a customer felt insulted and just walked away from the restaurant.
I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by how this situation was handled. I strongly urge higher food authorities and local health inspection bodies to look into this establishment for: Poor food quality Possible use of stale ingredients Extremely unprofessional and aggressive behavior by the management No customer deserves to be treated like this. We stood at the order counter for 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our existence (not a big deal it was 6:30) then when we ordered were told “that is going to take a long time, like 10 minutes” like? Okay? I still want it. We order our second item and are told “I have to check if we have the ingredients” so he never moves from where he’s standing and asks what we wanted again then we say. We go find our table and another 45 minutes go by and the person that was behind us in line gets served first (no big deal we ordered the ‘10 minute’ item) however the person that was in front of us was still waiting. So on to the food, we ordered the beef raider burrito. Now correct me if I am wrong, but something called a beef raider should have beef it, this burrito was 90%rice 7%veggies 2%sauce and 1% beef. When went went up to complain we told told that he’d make a new one, at this point it is just us in here and not even the skip noise has gone off. We waited another 25 minutes for this burrito and when I turned and looked no one was making it. Read moreI ordered from this place on September 26, 2023, at 10:17 p.m. through Skip the Dishes. My driver arrived at the restaurant at 10:43 p.m. and it said he was on way with my order. I was following along on the tracker and all of a sudden the message changed saying they were preparing my food still which is quiet odd. It took 40 minutes before my driver left the store and to make matters worse as he was driving to my house it said he was delivering another order on the way. As far as the tracker showed he never left this restaurant the whole time so I am assuming he delivered another order for them. He finally arrived at my house at 11:45 an hour after he got to the restaurant. I assumed he must have arrived at the restaurant and the food was not ready or something to delay him, but I expected my food to be fresh still. When I opened my burrito it was cold. I would have been more forgiving had my food arrived warm and fresh. Human error happens, but judging by the temperature of my food it must have been ready when the driver arrived at the restaurant.
