Retro North Games — Local services in Thunder Bay

After going to the store and meeting with the owner and staff I'm revising the review.

The store has a great selection of retro games and consoles which are all very clean and well displayed. The staff were polite, knowledgeable and helpful. A great spot to nerd out and grab something for your gaming needs.

The owner gave an appropriate explanation and apology for my previous issue. Huge thumbs up. Glad I gave Retro North a second shot.

Do not reccomend. Called inquiring about purchasing a N64 and a possible trade. Was asked to txt pictures and after sending I was ignored. Will never do business here, bought a N64 online instead....

First time ordering from this business my game arrived within a great time frame and in complete/perfect condition and the lowest price I could find. Second time 4 or 6 six games I ordered were shipped but do a slight delay the other 2. They've reached out to me right away and were very professional as well as timely in responding to resolve any issues to try and rectify or accommodate as best as they can. The other 2 came and once again great condition and a great price. They service, clean and replace any batteries that may be needing replacing for cartridge save states. I will definitely order from here again...

Did a preorder on Retro Games North for a Games Workshop release. Excellent service - they even shipped it out a day early so I got it closer to release date than I would have otherwise.

They contacted because they ran out of tote bags they give out for free with some Games Workshop orders and wanted to "make it right" as if it was even a problem that I didn't get a free bag I was totally unaware of. They could easily have said nothing and I'd have been none the wiser but they chose to be exceptional instead. As far as I'm concerned this'll be my go-to for GW preorders...
