Subway — Restaurant in Thunder Bay

Stopped in there last night for a 6" sub at around 9pm and the employee completely ignored me. I saw he was working on a SKIP the dishes order, that had a number of 12" subs. I stood there directly in front of him waiting to be acknowledged, and followed him up and down the ingredients a few times, but he completely ignored me, so I decided to wait and waited approximately 12-15 mins, while he kept working on the order. Instead of making my 6" sub he just ignored me, had he been polite enough to AT LEAST let me know he had no plans of making my 6" sub until he had finished his order I could have either waited or chose to grab dinner somewhere else (which I don't understand, because my sub would have taken 3 mins). But, he kept on ignoring me, until I took offense to the fact he wasn't even going to acknowledge me (12-15mins later) and decided to quietly leave. He could have simply informed me that he had an order that was going to take 25 mins to complete and he wasn't going to make my sub until he was completed, but he didn't even acknowledge me the entire time I stood in front him at...

I recently visited Subway, and I was utterly disgusted by their food-handling practices. The staff used the SAME gloves to handle everything—bread, veggies, and even cheese—after touching pepperoni and other meats. As someone who avoids meat (or has dietary restrictions), this is completely unacceptable. Cross-contamination is not just unprofessional; it’s unsafe for people with allergies or dietary preferences.

When I asked them to change gloves, they seemed annoyed, as if it was a huge inconvenience. This is basic hygiene! If Subway can’t follow simple food safety protocols, how can customers trust what they’re eating? Absolutely disappointing, and I won’t be...

My Wife and I stopped at this Subway location last Wednesday.. I was in Diabetic Distress, experiencing LOW Blood Sugar (1.8) and had to wait in the car, my wife entered the Store and quickly asked the Late 40's Caucasian female sandwich artist for help, She was so caring and kind, she immediately gave my wife a take out cup to fill with Regular pop, with out holding up my wife and asking for immediate payment.. I JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU SO MUCH, THE WORLD CAN USE MORE CARING AND HEART FELT PEOPLE AS YOURSELF.. I'm terrible with names and unfortunately I couldn't remember yours..

P.s. My Canadian Club hit hard and was delicious.....
