Cozy Corner Restaurant — Restaurant in Timmins

Came all the way from Ottawa to visit family, tried finding a decent Chinese restaurant in Timmins to deliver from and this is NOT the place. Firstly, when a customer is ordering and doesn't get what you are saying, do not go on saying "I don't know why you're not getting it" just keep explaining! Secondly, we were allowed to change our combo at first, then when I asked for a second item to be changed, we were then charged for the first change we made, AND charged the difference in cost so we didn' get the second change ending in us not getting what we actually wanted. To add on to it, our $42 4 dinner meal turned into $46, plus $5.98 for the combo change. So now we've overpaid for their food. Now, for the food. Chicken is plain, white and dry. Chicken fried rice had chicken, rice... Two little pieces of celery. Very boring. The spare ribs we paid extra for were slightly undercooked, hardly even dressed, and looked disgusting. I've never tasted spare ribs as gross as these! Our food came fast, but COLD. Just do yourself a favour and don't order...

Review update : I had to change my review because as of late I've been getting bad service and mediocre food from this restaurant. First of all you don't know if they will pick up the phone. Last two times I tried ordering from here and had to go elsewhere because they never picked up the phone. When they do pick up the phone, I suggest you ask how long the wait time is. Once they said 1:30 and it took 2:30 another time they didn't want to take my order at all. The food used to be good but they seem to always forget something like the chicken ball sauce or won ton soups or egg rolls. Nothing worth going back for when your family is ready to eat. I've been taking my business elsewhere lately and I've found a few good places that I think will be my new go-to Chinese food restaurants. The place also needs major renovations: I wouldn't take...

I have usually been pleased with my orders from Cozy Corner. They make excellent Chinese food, but their customer service is terrible. Several items were missing from my last order, and I called to ask that they send the delivery driver back with the rest of my order. The person who answered the phone yelled at me that she had packed my order, and that I was trying to cheat them or that I need to double check my bag. I am so unsettled from this experience, I will not be ordering...
