KFC — Restaurant in Timmins

When I arrived at KFC I went through the drive through and sure Enough, there was nobody in front of me. When I arrived at the speaker box, I sat there and sat there and sat there, thinking that perhaps that the store had closed , That's how long I sat there. Then, when I finally had someone come on to the intercom, I could barely hear them.

I managed to put my order through and proceeded to the window. I noticed, but there was a car up ahead that has been sitting there waiting. Next thing I know I received my meal before they did, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it's the first order that should be received first. Not have them sitting there waiting. Nonetheless , i received my meal and I asked for a particular drink, i received something completely different as compared to what I asked for.

My dinner that I ordered was simple, three piece strips with fries, a seven up in a bottle and some coleslaw. I drove two blocks and sat down to enjoy my meal. The fries were cold, there was no dipping sauce, nor did he ask if I wanted any, i had two strips and some strange peace as a third. The first two pieces were fine, the third piece did not even have any meat in it, it was strictly bone skin and grizzl covered in kfc's famous breading. Overall not impressed, this is not the first time that anything like this has happened at this location. Unfortunately, i'm a sucker for punishment, and i'm always hoping that things would change. The KFC in Timmins is starting to go downhill. Between the food, presentation and packaging and even just being open. On more than one occasion now the store is closed with no notice. Delivery, pick up, everything. Your call rings forever with no answer. The food packaging has been very sloppy, thrown in the boxes, not even portioned properly. The items have been put into bags without consideration either, I was taking my items out of the bag when I got home and the gravy was put in the bag sideways to fit between two boxes, however I didn't know this because it was wrapped itself in a paper bag. This didn't protect it from anything though, because when I grabbed the bag to pull it out the gravy of course popped open and I got burning hot gravy all down my arm. When I left an email about the situation was I was offered one free sandwich on my next order, but no actual coupon or even asking my name, number, just said to mention it next time I come in. That leads me to believe this happens often. It's also a shame that the recipes have been changed so much, to no fault of the Timmins location, but KFC gravy, fries, chicken, coleslaw, etc have all changed for the...

My 4 year old son wanted KFC for so long. He wanted the bucket. My sister was in Timmins so I asked her to get a 6 piece and ask if she could get them to put it in a small bucket (I would pay for it, if needed.) She explained to the server that it was for her nephew and asked for the bucket stating she would pay for it if need be, the server was extremely rude and told her flat out no that it comes in a box and that was it. Atmosphere 1 star. Service 2 stars because the other server tried to reason with her. Still put it in a box though. When she gave it to my son, he was so happy to see the bag. Disappointed there was no bucket, but happy just the same, the chicken is a whole other story! Original recipe was ordered and It was SPICY even for me and I adore spicy food. I took the skin off for my son so he could eat it, but even the meat was spicy the chicken was covered in pepper. I would post photos, but there is no place to upload them. 1 star.

Because we live in Cochrane, there was no way to return it so with a big glass of milk each we managed to eat it.
