We went for dinner on Wednesday night. First of all, there is no brief introduction about their combo promotion while we seated, until we asked. Second, there is no water served for at least 10mins after I asked once. The server only gave us pops from the combo, and there is no water. After I asked the second time, the server talked back on me said, the pops are the water from the combo. I was wondering if he understood what is the difference between water and pops. There is no apologies and any emotions that means their service are not good enough. Third, we ordered the green bean park rib pot, when the pot is coming, sever didn’t turn on the stove to start to cook, and we ordered the corn pan cake, and they said they don’t have enough dough and instead of the pre make ones. The corn pan cake is the special for the dishes and it’s 6:30pm and ran out of the stock, I can’t belle how they prepare for open. There is nobody checking our pot and every single time we need to yell a waiter for checking the pot. The last and most important part, the green bean pork rib pot there is NO green bean at all! Like the pot in picture! I asked the waiter, why there is no green beans in my pot? She just shrug and turn around. There is no apologies or any made up about this situation. I am very upset about the service we got in last Wednesday night! I am not recommending this restaurant at all! NO SERVICE, BAD ATTITUDE! This restaurant doesn’t...

If you're looking for a hearty, flavorful, and comforting meal, let me introduce you to one of the best discoveries I've made lately — Iron Pot Stew (Tie Guo Dun), a traditional dish from Northeast China that completely stole my heart (and my appetite)!
We ordered the "Jin tou Ba nao" Stew, a rich mix of beef tendon and beef — basically all the good stuff that melts in your mouth and is packed with flavor. The stew is slow-cooked in a giant cast iron pot right at the table, bubbling away with a thick, aromatic broth that’s absolutely irresistible.
The meat was incredibly tender, especially the beef tendon chewy, gelatinous, and perfectly infused We also added potatoes, glass noodles, which soaked up all the flavorful soup and made the whole dish even more satisfying.
What really makes this experience special is the ambiance — smoky steam from the pot, and the nostalgic scent of a traditional Chinese countryside kitchen. It's not just a meal, it’s an entire experience.
Highlights:

Read more"Authentic Northeastern Chinese Flavors at Dong Bei Ren Jia" Dong Bei Ren Jia offers a taste of authentic Northeastern Chinese cuisine. The food is exceptional, with bold flavors and a focus on regional specialties. If you're a fan of hotpot, they have excellent options. I personally enjoyed the egg fried rice, Sichuan fried chicken, and a delicious fish dish (though I can't recall the name). The spice level can be quite intense, so be mindful when ordering. A note for non-Mandarin speakers: Navigating the menu can be challenging as most of the communication is in Mandarin. It's highly recommended to bring a Mandarin-speaking friend along to assist with ordering. While the food is outstanding, service could be improved to better accommodate non-Mandarin speaking customers. Despite the language barrier, Dong Bei Ren Jia is a worthwhile destination for those seeking an authentic and flavorful Chinese...
