One Plus One BBQ — Restaurant in Toronto

I usually don't give negative reviews. But this dinning experience ruined my night. Had to wait for a while before get seated. waiters were really busy so nobody had time for us. Food is average. It is super annoying that the cook couldn't spread the salt evenly. For both veggies and skewers, some bite were very salty and some part doesn't have any taste. Worse than the food, the service was just horrible. Except for one lady in red top, she was nice. Other waitresses were very rude. We waited quite long for our potato skewer so I asked the waiter wearing glasses. I said: "excuse me", and she replied: "Speak"...SpEAk??? LOL , this was the most ridiculous response I have ever got from a waiter. At the end we still didn't get our potato but it was included in the bill. They kept telling us the potato will be ready in seconds when we were ready to pay at the cashier, our table already got cleaned but they asked us to wait for the potato. NEVER gonna to back to this...

I would give zero stars if possible. Went in the other night with 2 friends, total 3 tables, it was not busy. We ordered skewers and other side dishes. In 40 minutes, they served exactly 2 skewers and a burned up plate of chives. We asked about the rest of our food and asked about the burnt chives, waitress said the burnt parts were stems and it didnt matter and the food is being prepped and cooked. 20 minutes later nothing, we asked for the bill and the waitress said the rest of the food was coming, we argued and said just cancel the rest and give us the bill. Because of the arguement they continued to insist the food was coming, we told them we didnt want it and we wanted the bill, unfortunately one of my friends said out loud because of the arguement, we dont want spit or other things in our food. We paid and left. TLDR; it wasn't busy, we waited patiently for just under 1 hour. Never...

A friend recommended this restaurant for its skewers so I decided to give it a try.

PROS: Pricing is pretty good.

CONS: Really salty. Probably one skewer would be enough to melt an entire single driveway full of ice. Seasoning is the same no matter the protein that is selected. Restaurant inside is dirty, the floor is sticky (perfect for trapping insects), and there are a lot of stains. Service was terrible as the server forgot about us and did not submit our order to the kitchen for over an hour. I guess they really liked our presence. Was served chicken skewers with extra ingredient (hair). Once the server acknowledged the issue, he was quick to re-serve us with raw chicken... It was very considerate of them as they knew we were hungry from waiting for so long. Raw chicken is also no bueno.
