I went to this restaurant for several times to try different dishes. Sorry for not providing photos but still I feel it is necessary to leave an honest comment. The service is great and the place is very clean. Both deserve a 5/5. Most toppings and side dishes are amazing, especially braised beef and fishballs. Restaurants usually cannot handle them well but 3A kills it. HOWEVER, the most classical dish of a Cantonese noodle restaurant is Wonton thin egg noodle which is the reason I need to give 3/5 on food. Wonton should have a balanced flavour between shrimp and pork. Probably it is your new version to lessen the ratio of pork, but still sesame oil steals the main character, even my non-Asian can point it out for his first time of wonton. A good chef should always pay attention to sesame oil, it is too easy to hurt the balance of a dish. The soup/broth should be based on flatfish and/or shrimp eggs, sadly I can barely taste it. The alkaline taste in soup from egg noodles has been improved, but there are still there. I prefer a harder texture of thin egg noodle btw but really don't mind if you prefer softer. Sorry if it makes you sad. I really hope you to improve and become the best. You have the potential and able to handle this...
Read more3A Noodle is a hidden gem for Hong Kong-style comfort food in North York. The restaurant’s reflective glass exterior creates a private yet inviting atmosphere, while the spotless interior—complete with a tiny but immaculate washroom—shows their commitment to cleanliness. A freezer section featuring their popular frozen dishes and the option for party orders make this spot even more versatile. The menu caters to all tastes, from noodle lovers to fans of hearty meat dishes. The weekday Special Combo Meal (3pm–5:30pm) is an unbeatable deal for a satisfying meal. Each dish I tried impressed: the Jumbo Shrimp Wonton Noodles delivered plump, perfectly cooked shrimp and chewy egg noodles. The Chu Hou Braised Beef Brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender, elevated by a rich Chu Hou sauce. The crispy, well-seasoned Deep-Fried Fish Skin stole the show, while the steamed Choy Sum with Oyster Sauce added a fresh and savoury touch. Even the Hong Kong-style Milk Tea was a nostalgic treat, rich and creamy. With attentive service, flavourful dishes, and an immaculate dining environment, 3A Noodle is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Hong Kong-style cuisine. Don’t leave without trying their...
Read moreWe visited on a weekday lunchtime and were impressed by the efficient service.
The deep fried fish skin is delicious. The dumpling is bigger in size than average and it's very filling. The only complain we have is their soup base and the dumpling itself are too heavily seasoned; they are both too salty. Their frozen foods and dried foods are fresh and of good quality. We enjoyed the rice roll and rice is lotus leaf.
Although the service is efficient, the 45-minute dining limit feels a bit rushed, leaving little time to fully enjoy the meal and the experience
The interior was neatly laid out, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, energetic, and attentive. Reading their responses here, it's clear that the owner is engaging and values customer feedback and is committed to continuous improvement. This dedication sets them apart from similar restaurants (like congee wong, congee queen) where good customer service seems like a...
