This afternoon I ordered 3 medium pepperoni pizzas. They owner told me it was 7.99 each. They used to be like 6 dollars, but whatever, covid and all. Fine. I paid with a 50 dollar bill. He asked for 70 cents and another 5 dollar because he "didn't have change", then gave me back 22 dollars. All in all I paid 55.75 and received 22.05 back, for a total of 33.7 for 3 medium pepperoni. At 7.99 each after tax it should be 27.12. The front counter had paper taped all over it and the PoS terminal was not visible when I paid. I didn't get a receipt, and neither did the people who ordered after me, and so I couldn't verify how much I paid on the spot.
I have been coming to this pizza place since the day it opened (And when it was called Free Topping Pizza, too.) and they still scammed me of spare change. 6.58 may not be a lot of money, but the principle stands. I get it. post-covid everything is more expensive, but you still CAN'T GO AROUND SCAMMING PEOPLE.
It's such disgusting, vile behavior to take advantage of your customers by hiding the PoS system, making up prices, and then not giving them a receipt, just so they can't dispute the amount on the spot.
The owner used to be pleasant to talk to, and I liked the pizza from this place. Unfortunately this experience left a pretty sour place in my mouth, and looking through all the 1 star reviews it seems like there had been some seriously negative changes to this operation in recent times. I'm disappointed at the...
Read moreThis place used to be a spot that i would go too once in a while as the food and prices are good. But I WILL NEVER BE COMING HERE AGAIN. My friend ordered food from them and I went to go pick it up and I was charged $100.40. I was not told the total by my friend so i assumed it was correct and I left with my food (they actually got our order wrong and missed out on stuff but whatever).
The next day my friend was called multiple times by the owner or whoever it was and when my friend called back the man was yelling at him telling him that he did not pay the price which was apparently $140 instead of the $100.40. My friend said that it was an honest mistake and that it was not really our fault and he told the guy that we would not be coming back because of his behavior.
The owner calls back after and says that he would like to offer complimentary wings and pizza for his behavior and my friend agrees to go pick it up (even though the owner offered to come drop it off which was a red flag). My friend goes to pick it up and he was immediately harassed again about paying money that we should not have to pay since it was NOT OUR FAULT. He accuses us of robbing him. and Finally in order to just get out of the trap he set for my friend, my friend agrees to pay him the money and get the wings.
This behavior was not okay especially when it was an order that happened the night before and especially when it was not our fault.
We will not be...
