A&W Canada — Restaurant in Toronto

I have to preface that this location is the closest to me between my house and work.

I've ordered from this location a few times and each time is a lottery of how bad my order will be. Each and every time I've had a missing item. Sometimes it's small like no napkins or a sauce was forgotten about - whatever, that happens. A lot of the time it is an entire food item and it goes unnoticed until I reach my home. You might read this and think, 'You should have checked your order before you left the restaurant.' and like, yes, valid. But sometimes you finish work at 3am and you are a little too tired to check. Also, it you shouldn't be the customers job to ensure their order is correct.

I have to say that each location has their own way of doing things. Some locations add a nice chunk of mayo in their Chicken Buddy sandwiches while some put a lil smear and call it a day. But out of all the locations this one takes first place for always missing an item.

I'd like to add that I understand mistakes happen - we're human and that's life. But when the mistakes are consistent it might be high tide for an...

Your service is absolutely horrible...the cashier is very slow, it's as if he does not know his job, furthermore there is a line up of 7 people who have not ordered yet but is way too busy looking at a screen waiting for an order that is not made yet. I used to work at a fast food place so I do know what I am talking about.

Also the washrooms are really nasty. I would rather use a washroom at a gas station (which is generally nasty) than use the washroom at this location.

Also if I am not mistaken anything on the menu is fair game to order (unless its breakfast which I understand because i ordered at night), so don't tell customers you don't serve certain items on the menu after a certain time(ie rootbeer floats not served after 11pm).

Also the worst part was when the food was served it was cold. I was excited that A&W opened up in my area but now I would not come back here. Like seriously a cold burger. I am absolutely disatisfied.

If it was possible to give less than 1 star I would.

I don't recomend anyone else to go to this...

I live in the area and have attempted to come grab breakfast from here a few times. I normally enjoy a quick breakfast from A&W but not here. At least 6 or 7 times where Ive went here and ordered breakfast I am told they cant make breakfast for the next 15-25 minutes l. They have told me either the “chef is not available, they are too busy, they are cleaning the grills (at 730am?) or just blatantly they aren’t doing breakfast this morning” the times where I have said I will wait the 20 minutes suddenly after 5 minutes everything works and they make the breakfast only for it to be terrible quality and tossed together. I am left to believe the staff here are just lazy and want to avoid the work it takes to make breakfast cause they always try to suggest a breakfast sandwich and tell me how much faster it will be. Iv only ever been let down trying to order...
