My first time at this store since my toddler was recently diagnosed with peanut allergy (anaphylactic). Love the fact this store is nut free and is somewhat close by. It is vERY hard to find stores that is nut free. And at reasonable pricing.
I ordered a cake and specified for it to be less sweet if possible, the attendant said they will try. We had the cake last night and it was ridicously sweet!!!! We normally can tolerate sweet things but this cake was just intolerable.We couldn't even handle finishing more than an eighth of the cake. Likely will need to throw it out. Is this what they call a less sweet cake? Can't imagine what is normal sweetness.
We also purchased two donuts and they taste as good or better than Tim Horton which is good. Not ultra sweet like the cake.

Read moreThis is my 2nd visit to Amazing donuts. The place is listed as one of the top donut places in Toronto. Selections are pretty basic. They've got different donuts - Mexican, Hawaiian, Candy, etc but which are all variations of sprinkled donuts. The boston creme is okay - but i have had better. They have mini-boston cremes too.
Service for both of my visits has been passable. Not the warmest of receptions but not rude either. The 2 ladies that have been at the service counter do seem unenthusiastic in answering questions about flavors and prices.
Speaking of prices - a bit on the Med-High to High side for what you get.

Sure we could have driven across town and spent our time, energy and money to return them for a new batch but when you are in the middle of your holiday party, it’s the last thing you are thinking about.
