This venue and restaurant is an underrated hidden gem! My husband and I had our wedding here in August and it was honestly one of the best days of our life! Peter and his team overdelivered on our vision and exceeded our expectations. They were extremely accommodating, friendly and flexible with our requests and everything came together perfectly. Our guests loved the late night ice cream truck and the oyster bar had some of the best oysters we've ever tried! The food was amazing - great portion sizes, and actually flavourful. They also provided a variety of menu options to choose from (compared to a lot of other venues we checked out that were pretty generic and bland.) The venue itself is so beautiful and the views of the bluffs were stunning. The wrap around balcony made it perfect to get some fresh air. It was also very convenient that many things we did not have to source outside because the venue had it's own (e.g. tables, linens, sound system etc.). Even though there was lots of space in the venue, our guests commented that our wedding felt intimate, even with 100 guests. We loved that the vibe felt laid back and comfortable, yet still formal and fancy. Our guests were raving about it and we had a memorable time we will never forget. Peter added touches to make us feel special and is a reasonable and down-to-earth owner. You can put your faith in him and his team that everything will go smoothly. We would highly recommend hosting your wedding or event here, or even stopping by to try their regular menu (which is also delicious and high quality). WE CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I can't even begin to express how grateful I am for my experience at this amazing place! My parents threw an engagement party here for my fiancé and I in October 2023, and it was an absolute dream, all thanks to Peter and Dina! Seriously, these two are just fantastic! They treated us like family from even just the planning stages, and I can't emphasize enough how wonderful they are. If you're going to have an event here, it's worth it just for the service alone!!! But on top of the service... The view? Absolutely breathtaking. The food? Exceptional, especially the salmon—it was a huge hit! The ambiance was so enchanting and rustic, and again, the service? Unparalleled. The parking is also perfect and right in front of the place, so you don't have to walk far at all! I've never been treated so warmly by any establishment in my life! Peter and Dina went above and beyond for me, my fiancé, our families, and our guests. Their efforts truly made our special day magical. I'll forever cherish the memories they helped us create and I will never forget their involvement in our special day! From being so humble and welcoming, to dancing with us on the dance floor, to giving us suggestions on how best to save money during the process. I genuinely cannot stress how incredible Dina and Peter were, and the rest of their staff were equally incredible! If you're considering hosting an event here, absolutely do it! I cannot rave enough about this place and can't wait to hold future events here! THANK YOU PETER & DINA!

My parents took my kids so my partner and I could have a date night. I opted for breakfast instead as my daughter is allergic to eggs so we can never go out for breakfast… We arrived, the buffet was on the opposite side of where is is normally (so we were told). The staff were very disorganized. They were trying and, they were all friendly. There were so many opportunities for improvement. It opens at 11, we arrived around 1115. The omelette station was not in working order until 1140 or so. When it came out there were peppers, onions, and tomatoes. No cheese, no meats. The roast was delish, but no one was there to serve it half the time. They forgot to bring out the milk for the coffee. Plates were never cleared off the tables/ just kept re using my own. No regular bread / toast available. Later a table got a stack brought to them? They forgot the butter (I used on French toast). I’m not sure if I’ve ever been to a buffet where you have to top up your own coffee / at a coffee station (except maybe the free ones at a motel). Food was okay (pancakes and French toast, sausages and 3 strips of bacon, chicken, Brussels sprouts, eggs Benedict (which looked like the pan had been shaken), roast, omelet station, muffins and some pastries, 3 salads, cured salmon. Nothing was hot, maybe luke warm. I found it a tad expensive for the experience, 28.99. I’d go back to see if they were just having an off day (as someone said to us while we were there).

I’d like to start by saying our waiter was wonderful, he was attentive, kind and very friendly with our child. In addition to the good service, the view was lovely thus the 2 stars. Upon arriving to Bluffers Restaurant, it was apparent this establishment has existed in Bluffers Park for many years. It is run down, the menu is blah and it is very obvious that ownership has zero interest in providing a quality dining experience. I ordered a veggie burger (nearly $20) and my husband ordered the fish and chips (nearly $30) as well as a can of beer. My burger came with a couple packets of ketchup, iceberg lettuce and a slice of tomato. His small piece of fish and chips had a mound of slaw on the side that was not made with vinegar or mayo— but with miracle whip (tangy). The bill came to $75. My husband is currently laying down with a stomach ache that he attributes to the fish being either under prepared or past the expiry date. I would not recommend eating here, it is extremely overpriced, the food is terrible and the drink selection is weak. If you are hungry, go to the hot dog place by the water and enjoy the view from there. It’s very disappointing that the only restaurant down by the water is so gross. I would love to enjoy a day at the beach and then head to a place with a nice view of the water from a fun patio for a nice (affordable) bite to eat and a local draft beer.

The food was pretty good, but it was a hit or miss. The lobster mac and cheese was a bit bland and the cheese was (dare I say) TOO stringy. The lobster was well cooked and tender tho. The fish and chips were good too, and even the fries were salted and crispy. I wish the tartar sauce had more pickles instead of being basically just mayo. On the other hand, my friends got the red wine mussels and they were undercooked/majority of the mussels were barely cracked open. A friend got the lobster linguine and realized he basically only had 2 actual chunks of lobster in it, so he paid $40 for pretty much just noodles. Another friend got the lobster mac and cheese as well and it was burnt/overcooked, but the waitress kindly removed it from the bill at the end. Overall, I wouldn't say it is worth the price, but the service was great (and we had a HUGE party of ~30 people) and they let us bring a birthday cake into the restaurant

My husband and i, had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at The Bluffers Restaurant and Event Center, and it was an unforgettable experience! The ambiance was breathtakingly beautiful, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. Dina and Peter were exceptional in their service, actively involved in every step of the planning process, ensuring every detail was meticulously executed. Their dedication and expertise made our wedding vision a reality. The food was simply amazing, with our guests still raving about the delicious cuisine. The Bluffers truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone seeking a stunning setting, exceptional service, and unforgettable cuisine. Thank you, Dina, Peter, and the entire team at The Bluffers, for making our wedding day truly unforgettable! Sincerely, The Moores (Zaria and Roger)👌"
