Bonfire Grill Smokehouse and BBQ - Scarborough — Restaurant in Toronto

This is no disrespect, just honest and open criticism hoping that things can get better. I bought the party trio (half rack ribs, wings and fries), full rack of ribs, crispy chicken sandwich and 2 carrot cake.

Party Trio: the wings were Perfect. The fries were decent and crispy. The ribs weren't the greatest. It wasn't as hot at the wings. Seemed like it was cooked and sitting, then warmed up but not grilled. It was bland and covered in sauce. The bbq sauce, I personally didn't like but it would have been better if left on the side. My main concern with the rib is that if I was to get ribs from Swiss chalet it would have been better and that's the standard I coming from. As I've eaten ribs world wide, when I see SMOKEHOUSE attach to bbq I expect a certain bbq standard. I feel it was not reached here. The pictures online are definitely nothing close to what I was looking forward to or expected a slight variance in person.

Chicken sandwich: The chicken tenders weren't crispy and I could overlook that but the toppings weren't even as advertised. No coleslaw or pickles. I received lettuce, tomato and ketchup. I had no idea they would choose their own toppings for my sandwich. (I hate ketchup)

The Carrot cakes were delicious.

Once again no disrespect, I just want to support local places that are 5 minutes away so I can count on a great meal when I'm not...

We didn't even finish it. Any of it. Ribs lacked flavour and were hard, The mashed potatoes seem to have been sitting out for a long long time, the chicken was so dry... even my dog walked away from it. The rub that was on it tasted like it was found off the floor.

Suggesting that you take a hard honest look at your products (ribs, smoked chicken, potato) and reevaluate your prep and cook on them. Food was so trash. Poor seasoning and poor cook on them. At the prices you ask for and the portions you give, your food quality needs to step its game up and be higher. Much higher.

listen to the feedback, the game is to 'WOW' us as customers and earn our repeat business so we continue coming back. We will not be coming back and I will make sure everyone i know doesnt either, make the adjustments and be better. Good...

Ordered delivery through uber today. We got the pulled pork sandwich with spicy fries bogo deal for 19.75. With basic add on's it ended up moving the total to $30.00 which was $15.00 each so not really a deal. Sandwich was size of hamburger bun pork was nice and smokey and I liked the coleslaw on it. The spicy fries need some salt as the rub was a bit bitter. We also ordered Mac and cheese with bacon which cost $8.00 beware the portion is small althought it is cheesy but needs salt. Mushroom soup was pureed, did not look like their picture and it did not taste like mushrooms we did not like it. Lastly I ordered 2 pickles both a nice size but not cut like the picture and when I bit into one the juice squirted all over my face! Please make sure you cut them in 4 so the juice will drain.
