Today was my first experience with this restaurant. It is a hidden gem. You drive to the back of the plaza and there's parking at the back. Really like the design on the outside and inside. It is only a pick up counter but they had showed me a small patio that is on the opposite of the parking lot that has a free/open cute and quiet patio. When you go inside, it actually has 4 different restaurant food menus. A menu for fresh salads and soups. American (burger, wings etc), pastas, and pizza My cousin and I ordered from the Califresh menu which was the fresh salads and soups. They also had really delicious looking wraps. If you want a delicious, healthy, feel good meal, these salads were to DIE for. I had the Abundance Bowl and it's probably one of the best salads I've ever had. The portion is huge. My cousin said the Keto Cobb salad was amazing also and will now be her go to salad restaurant. I feel the same. The staff were super nice and very accommodating. I had high hopes for Califresh, but my experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered a soup, salad, and smoothie, expecting fresh and well-prepared food. Instead, I found a long black hair in my soup and had the revolting experience of pulling it out of my mouth. It was absolutely disgusting and nearly made me sick.

To make matters worse, the sweet potatoes in my salad were nearly raw—not cooked at all. When I called to report the issues, their response was dismissive, simply saying, “We wear hairnets,” with no apology or resolution.

Especially for the $30 I paid, I expected far better quality and service. The lack of accountability and concern for hygiene is unacceptable. I can’t trust their food standards and won’t be returning. Califresh seriously needs to improve their food preparation and customer...
