C&J's Authentic Jamaican Cuisine — Restaurant in Toronto

I had the pleasure of finding this wonderful restaurant while out for a walk. The gentleman that greeted me, the owner Chris, was really kind. I ordered the Fried and Stew chicken dinners with rice n peas and vegetables. I loved the flavours of the food and especially the vegetables and the portions are generous. His food is well seasoned and you can tell the Chef Chris, The Owner) pours love into his cooking!!

I really appreciated that the food remained hot as I travelled home, as that speaks to the good quality of his food. I look forward to trying the fresh juice he offers and I plan to visit there again soon 😁

• I went today, July 21st, Saturday and had the blessing of trying the Pineapple and Ginger juice and a Juice with a secret blend. I was looking for soup and I searched for Jamaican food near me at that point of time and I called to ask which kind of soup they had I heard chicken soup I said I’m on my way. Ok now I reach the restaurant and walk in. Immediately I started jamming cause the music was tasteful. The aroma of the food hit me and though I went with the intent for soup I ended up buying food. Overall I loved my first experience here. The place was clean handled my food with care and love. The owner is humble and was very pleasant to deal with I truly am grateful and ask God to bless this place cause I will be back again. Took a wrong turn while coming home and found this hidden gem. Starting from owner Chris he greeted us like family and took his time to prepare our food. We got jerk chicken with rice and peas and oxtail with plain rice. Next he offered us fresh special cane juice if we were interested and thank God we said yes because OMG the juice which he made fresh for us we had never tried anything like that before. This juice was a mixture of Sugarcane, cocunet water fresh ginger and lime, it was so refreshing on the ice.
