I ordered my birthday cake at this bakery. 2 years in a row now. I bought their strawberry shortcake. I LOVE it!!! Last year I bought the 20" inch cake for $30-35. This year I'm not sure what size I bought but it bigger and I paid $45. I find the price is definitely good. Definitely getting a deal. With covid happening I'm planning on cutting slices and dropping them off the family. Buns. My mom enjoys their sandwiches. She loves the buns. I'm ot sure which one she loves specifically because I bought some buns from there the other day and i thought they were too light and dosnt enjoy it. Flan. They sell flan and I really enjoy it. It has a slight orange taste to it. I was planning on buying some for my sister but the cake slices will be big so I will send her some next time. Cheesecake. I love NY cheesecake. Their cheesecake is ok, but not my top 3 choices for cheesecake in the city. But I will buy it if I crave it. Coconut macaroons. I just find these delicious!!! Tiramisu. They sell tiramisu slices and tiramisu in chocolate cups. I find the ones in chocolate cups too sweet for me. If you love sugarngo for the chocolate cups. Otherwise you're safe with the regular slices. Which are ......delicious! The location is convenient because you can shop and stop for a snack. They have tables and chairs so you can order and they bring the food to you. The employees are nice and polite. The ambience is nice and relaxing. I don't know how covid will affect this, but I enjoyed sitting at a table with mom and catching...
Read moreHonestly I felt the need to re write my review and change it from a 5 star to a one for a very good reason. I work close by and have been frequently visiting for about 4 years. Customer service has slowly been getting worse to the point where I took the effort to re write this. Today I ordered my breakfast and a large coffee.
She made a mistake and made a large macchiato instead. I told her no worries I drink these too. I was already seated and waiting for my sandwich. She then asked if I had paid already then told me I had to pay the difference and stormed off. I thought it was strange but thought okay. Then the other person working said I have to come pay the $2 difference for a drink I did not order. So now I'm standing in this massive line. No on even attempts to take my $2 that I should even really have to pay. As I get close to the front and see them I said I have to go just give me what I ordered and paid for and take this back. She then gives me a dirty look and gives me my coffee.
The lack of professionalism and level of rude just isn't worth it. Also I didn't even want that other drink I was trying to be nice and this is what I got for my troubles.
Update : Came back hoping for new staff and to no surprise they got me the wrong drink again. At this point they must be messing...
Read moreFood here is good but the customer service is very poor. Staff here are rude. After taking my order they didnt even advise how long iâll wait and just left. After minutes of waiting, i approached the cashier (a different one) and followed up on my order, the cashier said they are making the order and it takes time. I said, âokay because she didnt advise me how long and my ride is calling me. The cashier replied, âmaybe coz u didnt ask.â I answered, âoh sorry so itâs my faultâ and went back to wait on the table. While waiting, was surprise when i felt somebody threw something on my elbow which is resting on the table and when i looked, it was my sandwich thrown at the table by the cashier who took my order. I asked the other cashier the name of the girl and was told itâs brenda. I told them what happend and asked if thatâs how they serve their customers. This was really disappointing and frustrating as I came off from work and went there to get my sandwich and this is the type of service i get!!! Hope you train your staff to be better...
