Church's Texas Chicken - Fried Chicken York — Restaurant in Toronto

The food is excellent, but a couple of times that I have bought food in this place I have noticed that the staff does not have enough hygiene to handle food. The cashier obviously, apart from handling the cash register and the cash, takes the order with her hands without washing the order, uses the clamp to place the food in bags and boxes, that same person (the cashier) hands you the glass, the glass lid and straw even without washing your hands and without wearing gloves. In the same way, on another occasion, I could see her forgiveness behind in the kitchen without gloves, handling the hamburger buns without gloves. The manager I suppose (it was the manager) reviewed some invoices in a folder and after a few minutes he began to review and open the boxes and bags of the orders that the cashier was completing to be delivered to the few clients that we expected. How do you know if these people sneeze, go to the bathroom, touch money or other objects in the workplace, and wash their hands? They should have a person in the box and another who serves the orders, also the drinks should be only in bottles or cans, or at least if they are going to give me the glass, the lid and the straw should be previously packed individually with the greater asepsis possible. Like it or not everything has changed and these food places should be more careful to avoid contagion...

The men that were working in the evening shift today were very disgusting. One of them kept rubbing his fingers in his nose before my order was ready I had to tell him to wash his hands. The other staff was not wearing his beard covering and when I requested for him to put one on because I was concerned about his hair falling into my food; he then told me by law he doesn’t have to, then he started rubbing his beard with his hands to show me that his hair won’t fall out into the food. I was so disgusted I requested for refund. Then the 2 men staff started argueing with Me and saying I should pay for my drink before I get my refund back. I’ve tried getting their names but one of the man staff told me that their names are Sam. I highly doubt that because they were all Indian men working there. These men does not know anything about cleanliness, their customer service skills are very poor. I had a terrifying and rough experience at this church’s location and will never go back there...

I wanted to change from 2pc combo plus one pc to 2pc combo but they didn't accept it because they cannot provide credit card refund on their system eventhough I just requested change not refund.. it's ridiculous

Plus, the clerk recommended me to add one more pc when I ordered 2pc combo and I accepted but the price is different from 3pc combo price.

So, I asked the reason why the price is different eventhough both are total 3pc combo and she said this because the leg and thigh price is different and she didn't explain this price gap when I ordered at first. She could have explained me when I ordered at first. But she just encouraged me to pay more even I cannot change. And I asked what you can do for me to recover this unfair situation and she said I can't do anything for you and she said sorry.....no change no refund made me pay more and saying sorry at the end hahaha what???? even the other clerk said this is all what we can explain...
