It saddens me to say that the service over here was mediocre for my liking. The server placed someone else's order who came through the door after me. My strawberry/banana smoothie was not a smooth, creamy consistency at all. It was way too bland and liquefied.
I was over charged $1.00 for whey protein when the price on the board said $0.65 extra. I brought it to the young lady's attention and she said "there's nothing I can do, the POS system made that price, and the manager is unavailable". Even though I kept explaining to her that she clearly overcharged me. Furthermore she made me break an extra $5.00 bill on my already $10.00 smoothie just to pay a $0.16 cent difference when there was already an overcharge.
I had no problem with paying for peace sake nor did I want to make a big deal, but when I brought it to her attention she was very dismissive. Even when keeping it professional she offered me no suggestions at all which made the experience very unpleasant. Poor quality of beverages along with the service and yet one would think the prices would somewhat be atleast decent. You're better off making your own juice or...
Read moreI am a frequent customer at this location, I often only purchase the smoothies, although they are very tasty the price is a bit steep in compare to other chain smoothie cafes. I noticed that hey introduced baked goods in the store and was intrigued by the selection. I went back to make a purchase 2 days ago, I bought a cookie and a croissant. I was very excited because they looked so good I couldn't wait to taste them. I bit in to croissant and it was so dry even heating it up the texture was awful and the cookie? like eating sand it was so stale. I went back later that day to purchase a smoothie and I asked the girl working how long have these (baked goods) been sitting here? she said 4 days..... this is crazy! Its suppose to be baked fresh everyday not sitting there on display for 4 days waiting to be sold... You need to have fresh items for sale. I was so upset because I spent my money here thinking that I'm getting fresh items to eat but instead I'm getting the most foul tasting pastries...
Read moreIt's one thing to be a typical smoothie or tea shop that has dairy milk and a very different thing to be one that advertises non-dairy milk. Anyone would expect non-dairy milk to not contain dairy. The staff were very helpful in showing the "non-dairy" milk they use. However, the ingredients clearly stated the presence of cows milk and whey.
Unfortunately, this is false advertising. I appreciate that it's an outsourced product and the store had not known. I hope this review gets them to replace their milk with cruelty free actually non-dairy options. And I hope people reading this with allergies to dairy or unnecessary cruelty to cows are not led astray.
I'll leave this review up until I hear back from the store and the issue has...
