I was not sure if to post this bc I think it will just fall on blind eyes... but whatever doing it anyways. I spent $50 here on Sunday after my shift. Got my food a was trying to leave with my full paper bag but the door is a pull 😩. In trying to open the door the bag ripped and my food spilled out. Lost a stip and some onion rings. I turn around and all three employees are just staring at me. So I'm try to pick up my food thinking oh one of them will come help me and maybe bring me a bag since mine tore... no one came. They all continued on as nothing. Mind you I was the only customer in there. I picked up what I could and went to ask for a bag and was met with a lack of empathy when I expressed the disappointment of not receiving any help even tho they were not busy. I picked up the food left on the floor and still no one help. By this time I was angry. I've worked customer service for so long and kno that any business that cares about the relationship with it's customers will strive to create a good first impression so to get a returning customer. Well this establishment does not. They didn't care to help empathize or offer to replace that one chicken stip and onion rings that would have cost them pennies but instead cost them a return customer. I don't care about the strip; well I did then bc I was very hungry after 9hours straight of driving the Roger's bus but for me it's that they didnt care about me (the customer; the reason they have work). Customers keep the business open... anyways I can't deal with lack of customer care when I've dedicated my life to it and continue to... meh 😑...
Read morePositives - Chicken pieces were large and the serving size of fries was generous (see negatives). Price was in line with Popeye's. Honey biscuits were an interesting change.
Negatives - Fries are nothing to write home about. Look and taste like frozen McCain's crinkle cut. They were soggy, although that tends to be the nature of takeout fries!
Service was a 2 - I ordered 2 of the 4 piece combos, each 1/2 spicy and 1/2 regular. I noticed she rung the order up as 1 spicy and 1 regular. I specified to please have 1/2 and 1/2 in each box because they were going to separate houses for dinner. Server said ok. Time to wait was 15 minutes, came back in 20, the order was boxed up with all the spicy in 1 and all the reg in the other. I explained again what I needed, she responded that that is how it was. Thankfully the manager was nearby, he overheard and understood and came to rectify the issue, which was nice. I also had to ask for my drink cups and when the food was opened at home(s), one meal was missing the biscuit.
Overall, I would have Church's again if I were in the area, but certainly wouldn't go...
Read moreMy name is J Wright and I purchase food from this location bI monthly and I normally do not post a review (good or bad) usually for any business, however, I 100% felt compelled to post one for this location, I was attended by an employee a.k.a "Jass" who went above and beyond the call of duty. She was very polite, courteous, knowledgeable and was very empathetic and sympathetic to my needs and wants. I was short 5 cents and she said don't worry about it. I was very hungry and I knew what I wanted. They ensured I got what I asked for and then some. I even called the store to thank them for a great meal after a long's day work when I finished all the 10 pieces. It was a great experience being served and a better experience eating DDDDEEEEElicious Texas Chicken. I highly suggest and recommend you, your loved ones, family and friends order from this location. 5 STAR ALL...
