Decent food, but don’t bother going in or calling in, best chance at getting what you want is by ordering online through JustEat, UberEats or SkipTheDishes. Quality of the food is okay, just make sure you leave a note to say you want your fried chicken well done, and don’t be fooled, you’ll have to wait approx 1 hour before getting your food through ordering online. That being said, going in is no better, frankly I would say it’s worse. This place of business is treated like a community center for the staff, who come in and out to visit their friends and hang out while one person works. The staff don’t care to work with you on your order and will ALWAYS tell you 8-10 minutes for you to get your food. I’ve visited this location 4-5 times. I’ve never received my order in under 35 minutes, and I only order 1 combo every time I order. I’ve been late to work just waiting for a meal. I’ve even tried calling ahead to get a meal and found it quite difficult working with the girl on placing my order, and once I got there, found she had misunderstood what I was ordering, and I had paid almost twice the price of what I had originally ordered, because ‘that’s what [she understood] you wanted’. Save yourself the trouble, don’t visit their location! Probably top 10 in...
Read moreI don't ever really have high expectations for fast food chicken places (unless you're Chick-Fil-A, of course), but if you have the time to wait, Church's can be a pleasant experience.
Unless you're getting the regular fried chicken, items like tenders will be made to order. So, if you're in a rush, you may need to look elsewhere.
That being said, it was kind of mind boggling how big the tenders here were. An order of five tenders with fries and biscuit was easily able to fill me up, whereas the same portion at Popeye's or KFC wouldn't be as filling. The chicken could benefit from a tad more seasoning, but the breading is quite delicious and crispy, and the sauces used do a good job of adding great flavour to the chicken. Fries tasted awesome and their biscuit hits the spot too. For the amount of money that you pay, you're getting quite a lot of food that tastes pretty good. They're open late night too which is a big plus.
While I certainly wouldn't say the chicken is top quality or the best I've had, it's certainly worth it if you want a quick pick-me-up and are...
Read moreToday Tuesday November 22nd I was eating at this Churchs and unfortunately I ordered wings for my son, when he bit into them my son told me that he felt weird, I picked it up and when he smelled it the chicken stank it was a nauseating smell and when I went to complain to the service lady, I told her to change them for others or give me my money back she told me that it was not possible and the other male staff started yelling in his native language (Hindu). Things that were not understood and unfortunately they only told me can we change it for a piece of chicken to which I had to agree because if not my son would be left without food but unfortunately be careful because the food is rotting and they are not capable of doing anything for the customer, terrible service and more so if someone starts speaking in a language that is not correct, even more so because it denotes cowardice on the part of the employees for not wanting to face this type of situation, definitely all the Churchs I have eaten at have always had terrible service but these...
