CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice — Restaurant in Toronto

This afternoon, October 13, 2025, at 1:50 PM, I visited the Scarborough store at 1571 Sandhurst Circle to purchase 3 promotional bubble teas. When I picked up my order, a female staff member lost her temper and said, “You must order all 3 drinks at once; you cannot order separately, because there are too many papers.” I felt scolded in front of other customers. I wonder, if other customers requested 3 separate bills, would the staff react in the same angry and rude manner?

Every customer may have valid reasons for ordering separately, and they should not have to explain them on the spot. However, this staff member continued to scold me and even raised three order slips toward me. I have been a long-term customer of this store, and this experience left me very disappointed.

I also tried to explain my reasons, but she continued to assume I did not understand that the promotion applies the same way. She refused to listen and maintained a rude attitude. I find this level of customer service unacceptable and disrespectful. In the end, I could only respond, “whatever you said,” as I did not want to argue and hold up other customers waiting for their orders.

I hope your store addresses this staff behavior to prevent other customers from experiencing the same.

I have visited this location at least 4 times and each visit is extremely slow. It’s disappointing to experience that they mainly cater and prioritize their online customers (i.e. Ubereats, or doordash, etc) vs. Walk in customers. We had to wait 30 minutes for our order even though there was only 1 customer ahead of us. The cashiers kept accepting online orders and the only staff preparing the teas is sluggish for an active location with high demands of orders.

I understand there is a completion queue or busy hours will take longer but 30 mins wait on regular/slow hours is unexceptional.

It’s also difficult to hear and place an order as the music is over powering the store, Not to mention that the staff seems to rush customers but unable to serve on a timely manner. After my last visit, I will not return to this location and will stick to other Coco Fresh Tea branch who provides...

Very upsetting experience at woodside square scarborough location! Tried 3 times to order my milk tea with pudding, never happened, everything they have sold out this topping!! This Sunday, they have sold out the pudding, not surprisingly, also fresh taro and crystal pearl!!!!!!!! I ordered 3 drinks, 1 of the milk tea missed 2 toppings!!!!!! It missed the grass jelly and the sago!!!!!! I don't even know what to say at this point!!!! I never see any business that could run out soo many thins at once and missing staff from the order!!!!!! Anything can go wrong went wrong that day!!! I hope it's just me...
