I recently visited Delysèes Luxury Dessert, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The atmosphere is elegant and modern, making it a lovely spot to enjoy a relaxing afternoon with friends over some exquisite desserts.

The desserts here are not only visually stunning but also taste incredible. Whether it's the macarons, cakes, or other French pastries, you can truly taste the attention to detail and quality in every bite. It’s clear they use high-quality ingredients, and the presentation is top-tier.

However, since they market themselves as a luxury dessert place, there are a couple of aspects that detract slightly from the overall experience. The gold tables, while gorgeous, already have markings and some of the gold is scraping off in the middle, which takes away from the premium feel. Additionally, the ceiling decorations, particularly the feathers, have noticeable dust, which diminishes the sense of luxury. Addressing these details would elevate the atmosphere and make the space even more impressive.

Overall, Delysèes is a fantastic spot for desserts that I will definitely be returning to, perhaps more often for takeout, which we’ve already done and enjoyed immensely. With a few tweaks to the decor, it could truly live up to the luxury branding they aim for.

Delysees, an upscale luxury dessert boutique, is nestled within a prominent shopping mall. Upon entering, we were immediately struck by the sophisticated black and gold décor. The pastry display was a work of art, showcasing a range of modern French creations that were almost too beautiful to eat. The ceiling's adornment with beautiful feathers and decorative plants created a whimsical ambiance, evoking the feeling of a secret garden. To further enhance the experience, Delysees offers exclusive cocktail pairings. We encountered difficulty in selecting pastries, as each option appeared equally enticing. Ultimately, we chose the Saint Marcel mango and opera cake, which were presented on elegant black ceramic plates with gold-plated utensils. Both desserts were sublime, boasting a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The presentation was equally impressive, demonstrating the boutique's commitment to quality and attention to detail. On future visits, we intend to sample the Frasier, Milk Chocolate Tart, and Passionfruit Lemon Tart. Been to Yorkdale location tonight and there was poor selection. I was shocked not to be able to get the famous pistachio cake. They knew this is popular but they were out of stock of this one and also many others. In fact they had only few selections available, a handful selection:(. I bought at the end a big chocolate cake one a small piece of pistachio cake. Guess what? They didn’t have containers for the small size either… basically most of the questions I’ve asked got NO as an answer. They have the right container size for the small cake as a display, but nobody bothered to use them. It was displayed to show what they don’t have… Poor marketing or not well instructed staff. To bad I met the owner at Ottawa’s location. She is a very nice lady…. I hope she will read the review to act to fix the issues at Yorkdale. I was very disappointed with the trip at Yorkdale location…It supposed to be for a happy occasion but… They supposed to offer to deliver next day for you or something…nothing other than … sorry we don’t have this and that and so on… The prices are up to the roof but the offer is not matching them… Used to be excited about this place… but...
