I was met with a very rude delivery man, I think his name was Lenny. When the food was delivered, I received a text message from the 201 Sheppard store that the guy was waiting for me downstairs but I didn't get any phone call at all. There may have been an issue with my network at the time but I was receiving other communication with no problem. Since I live in a condominium, this man could've asked the concierge to contact me by the building phone but he didn't do that. When I arrived down, he was extremely rude and repeatedly kept telling me he tried to call me. I showed him my phone and told him I didn't get a call and he's just standing there throwing me shade?!?! He then proceeds to charge my card and asks if I want to tip and I say yes, but due to some miscommunication he thinks I'm paying 2 cents instead of $2. He asks me back why I don't mention the word 'dollar'. I was very taken aback. When I gave my card, my tap didn't work so I held out my hand to take the machine but he just pushes it roughly to me. After how he behaved with me I STILL tipped since I unintentionally made him wait, most people wouldn't have tipped anything at ALL. Very disgusting behavior I suggest the management to look into bettering the delivery service. I called the store to let them know and a guy on the phone apologized on his behalf. 2 stars only because the food was good and the guy on the...
Read moreI order delivery often, but have only visited the store once many years ago. The food is always excellent. I love the pizza, the chicken and the desserts. The website is very easy to use. I love that it saves my recent orders and easy orders. I love the tracking that shows how the order is progressing; it's very reliable. I love that there are so many options for toppings. I love that Domino's has its own delivery drivers and that they ensure that the order is placed in my hand, not left on the floor at the door. Honestly, the service from Domino's should be an example to other restaurants. Recently, I ordered at a really late hour because it was the only restaurant open, and it was a relief after a long day. I more willing give tips because I can see that there is care taken in each step of my customer service with Domino's. I genuinely appreciate the Domino's experience. In all the years I've ordered from here, I have never had a complaint. I do not know if the service is the same across the franchise but I'm certainly very pleased with this location. They have never failed but if someday they do, I'd forgive them easily because they've been exceptional for as long as I...
Read moreToday, as I was leaving the parking lot, one of their drivers starts aggressively pointing for me to go a different direction. I follow his signal — even though there were two cars, including mine, already going that same way. But no — this guy apparently thinks he’s the big boss of the lot and decides we should all move for him.
Then, he has the nerve to pull up beside me, stare me down, stop his car mid-drive, roll down his window, and start saying something. Joke’s on him — my car has Active Noise Cancellation, so I couldn’t hear a single word of whatever garbage he was trying to say.
But seriously? You’re on duty, in a Domino’s uniform, yelling at a customer in public like it’s your personal turf? ROOKIE MISTAKE. When you’re driving, you still represent your brand, BUDDY. I don’t know who hired this guy or what kind of fake personality he puts on during shifts, but THIS is clearly who he really is.
If this is the face of your brand, Domino’s, count me out. There are plenty of pizza joints that don’t come with a side of attitude. Won’t be...
