Was really looking forward to eating some nice Trini food and was sadly disappointed. Service was great and food prepared fresh and fast. Ample portions However taste was so bland, seasoning very toned down or non existent, pumpkin was really squash no flavor, Dahl no geerah or salt and same for potato and channa. Paratha- way too much flour used not the melt n your mouth crispy on the outside roti it should be. No passion or love put into the food. Will stick to Leila's and Drupatee's for real Caribbean food. Very sad representation of Caribbean food!

Tiny little store with massive flavour. I’ve been craving doubles for a bit and looked Ducky’s up since it was close to a stop I had to make. I have had many a double and was hoping Ducky’s wouldn’t disappoint. Good news, AMAZING. The chew of the breading, the slightly sweet taste of the chick pea filling-it was exactly what I hoped for. Great price too. Lovely lady running it. I will be back.

Best chicken roti in South Etobicoke, lots of other options just as good on the menu. The owners are always friendly and ready for a good conversation. There is nothing quite like these smaller, family run and home cooked restaurants.

Sad to say it's not the same. Server who thinks chatting with his buddy for 20 minutes with customers waiting.is the right thing to do. More expensive, less filling.. loads of wrapper and TINY amount of hot sauce on the side. Before the shrimp were done just nice, now WAY WAY overcooked.....likely left cooking while he had a nice visot with his buddy. Sad...I really used to enjoy the service amd the food. Even overcooked and more expensive and smaller serving...the flavour of food is the same so at least thats good..

Original review A regular for me and always a pleasure. Friendly staff good food and reasonable prices. But...if you say "extra hot"....guess what...its good and hot! Suggest getting hot sauce on the side till you find ur...

Food could be good if they used scotch bonnet in their cooking. It is way under spiced, I can hardly taste anything. Yes I am a Jamaican so maybe I like it a bit spicier but there is a lot of spice missing. Also the doubles need tamarind and scotch bonnet as well. Doubles are lacking in flavour.

Price is average, 10 dollars for a roti 2 dollars for doubles. Gave 3 stars because it would still be good for those of you who do not like any pepper in their food, as there is none at all here...

Also 3 stars because roti is not overly saturated with potatoes like other places. Will try again and update review if I am able to order it spiced properly, can't stress how...

I originally gave Ducky's 5 stars, but came back to edit my review because the last time we got them, they weren't as good. Huge (or you can get a small, which is quite substantial) freshly made, boneless white meat is available (which is what we get and the last time there was gristle and not all white meat...)as well as the more traditional on the bone. Chicken, potato, shrimp, goat and vegetarian choices. They have curries and a number of other items on the hand written menu on the wall. Pick up - the restaurant isn't fancy and there is no air conditioning. Trini Gardens just opened in the same strip mall.....I am going to try them next time...then I will...
