This restaurant is alright, I must say. I found the food to be a little disappointing. Salvadorian Food is certainly way different than what they’ve served us. They served us arroz rojo mexicano, which is not a Salvadorian dish (a strange-tasting rice) and overly refried hard old beans. Pastelitos de Pollo ** Not EMPANADAS. The stuffing is traditionally prepared differently not everything blended together and traditionally served with Salsa and Coleslaw on the side. The same is true of the enchiladas locas, usually comes with boiled egg, shredded cheese, beans, avocado, tomato Sauce, Etc which they’ve lacked of. Pupusas get a 2 out of 5, coleslaw needs improvement, and the watery horchata isn't even close to real tasting horchata. This cuisine is in no way Salvadorian! Since this is all I've had from this establishment, I won't comment on the other dishes. Recently, extremely expensive soft drinks ranging from $4-4.50 a Can (355ml) and some dishes and desserts (considering the overall increase in food prices in Canada). This is constructive criticism, You should level up on the food. Raise your game! P.S. The server is really kind and the...
Read moreMusic is awful.(depressing)They only accept cash and rude people. Not coming back THE WORST PART IS THAT I GOT REFERRED TO GO THERE NOW I AM SO DISAPPOINTED, NOT SALVADOREAN AT ALL Respond to what they reply* I asked politely if you could change the music to something less depressing and no (musica de cortarme las venas), not once did I demand. As a business owner, customer service is a must. I always smile to my customers, as is nice to do. If there's something I can't help them with, I will kindly give an explanation. If you needed to go to church on a good Friday, then you should have close and not be listening to QUERIDA . Feeds backs are always important as they help our business improve. ""My customer came to my business in Waterloo and let me know of your business since I travel to Toronto often at least 3 times a week, so I decided to bring my family 7 of us to eat, now you lost more potential customers, sorry that you can't see the big picture here as a business owner. For me, every customer counts. GOD...
Read moreI ordered 5 pupusas and other food but they only gave me salsa and the salad/cabbage enough for 2 pupusas at most. AT MOST. When I tried asking to get a little more of the sauce & cabbage topping, the lady was rude and said if we want more we have to pay an additional $6 for a bit more salsa and salad. I found this absolutely crazy because it only costs $3.75 PER pupusa....... and she wanted us to pay an additional $6 for what I'd think is the cheapest part of the meal (aka the sauce and cabbage topping). We are Spanish and eat pupusas ALL the time from other places and we've never had this kind of issue before.. Normally places that sell pupusas tend to be generous with their sauce and whatnot. Anyway this was the first AND LAST time we will ever eat...
