FIRECRACKER RESTAURANT - Authentic Trinidadian Cuisine — Restaurant in Toronto

I was a bit reluctant to order from this place, but for i recognized a change in menu, so i decided to give them a try. I ordered through UberEats their curry and roti with plantain. Worst mistake! Someone called and told me their plantain was 'dry' and whether i would take the salad. I didnt mind. I should've just cancelled. Something was a bit off putting about that call.They didnt send me any roti, instead I received a paratha , and their very of so-called authentic Trini curry was container of water and oil, with finely chopped up potatoes, with literally shreds and hints of chicken. I know curry and this was disgusting. Felt scammed! Never ordering again even if they're giving it away for...

I ordered from uber eats but I was really blown away with how the food was packaged and packed. It’s by far the freshest carribean food I have ever tasted! Will surely be ordering again.

Great flavours and it feels healthy aswell! Not to oily. It feels like who ever made this meal was very present when they were making it. Def could taste the love :)

My review is not about the restaurant but the hot sauce they sell. I tried their Authentic Trinidad hot sauce and it is superb.

This sauce burns pleasantly and there is no overpowering acetic scent or aftertaste characteristic of sauce with preservatives. It goes down with the flavour I have appreciated from a trip to Trinidad.
