First time eating here, my friend wanted to try it out, we both were craving Greek... It wasn't very busy, so we were seated right away, this was at 6:30 pm.
We both had Greek Salad with Pita bread to start, a nice BIG bowl of fresh delicious salad, the only weird thing, the bowls were HOT, I assume they just came out of the dishwasher? It made the bottom portion of the salad kinda weird. The Pita bread was really good!
My friend's Gyro Dinner arrived at 7:00 pm... Huge portions, and it was REALLY good, since my meal was taking a little longer, I tried some of the Gyro meat and tzatziki, OMG it was delicious!
My Moussaka arrived at 7:07 pm (yes, photo time stamps)... I love Lasagna, and Greek food, so thought that this would be something great to try out, my first time trying it. It was a little weird, with the top layer slid off to the side, but maybe that's the way it's supposed to be, I don't know? It tasted pretty good, until I got to the middle, it was COLD... It took awhile before a Server came over, by that time my friend was too full to continue his meal, so we both just got to go cartons.
I did mention to the Server that my meal was cold in the middle, she mentioned something about an issue with the oven... An offer to reheat it was made, but at that point I kinda lost my appetite... I love all the ingredients in the Moussaka, but it being cold like that was a big turn off.
All the food coming out looked really good, so maybe next time I'll have something else, I definitely want to give them...
Read moreOrdered the chicken souvlaki and the fried calamari. Got grilled calamari, which may have been my fault not understanding what was being said back to me on the phone. Anyway, I offered to take it so they didn't have to make another dish, but I still got charged the higher price, which was a bummer. When I got home and lifted up the paper bag, the bottom literally fell out from the copious amount of grease that had pooled at the bottom and into the bag and was three inches up the sides. Every container and bag inside was coated in thick wet grease even though I kept the bag upright for the entire trip home. The chicken was seasoned alright, but was oversized pieces too big to fit in the mouth, and surprisingly tough and dry. The potatoes were good, and the rice tasted good but was also sitting in a bed of grease. The grilled calamari was tough and sickly sweet with the balsamic reduction being too much, and it was mysteriously sitting in a 1/4" inch pool of oil and wilted lettuce. It's supposed to be grilled, i.e. healthy, so where is all the oil coming from? The Greek salad was fine but just had no personality. Half the pita was fresh while the other half was hard and made a tapping sound on the table. For all the good reviews, this was some of the worst Greek food I've ever had? Def won't be going back, since I just spent the past half hour in the bathroom with the worst...

First of all, no one should discriminate a woman for her appearance, "big chubby". Weight is just one aspect of someone’s overall well-being. You do not know if there is a health issue or what effect your comment has on the psychology of the person you’re blatantly criticizing. You’re referring to a person's appearance in a derogatory way and this is considered bullying and body shaming. We are in a country where everyone has the right to work without have to feel judged by their external appearance or origin. You certainly don't know what that person is going through and the fact that even if their English was not perfect or their appearance was not up to your standards, you're no one to judge and make such pejorative comments. At least they are willing to work, make a living for themselves, do their best in a foreign country, and to top it all they have to deal with such negative and diminishing attitudes. You're welcome to comment on the food and services without having to discriminate people this way.
P.S. People who comment on other people’s weight gain and degrade them this way are more likely to be riddled with...
