Guildwood Sandwich Shoppe — Restaurant in Toronto

Good alternative to subway with the same build your own sandwich concept. More interesting range of fillings to choose from and particularly appreciated the separate vegetarian menu which is unusual to see. I went for the veggie pattie which was ok, not a huge amount of flavour but it was just so nice to have an alternative to a plain cheese sandwich! The cookie was absolutely fantastic, would go back to the shop just for the cookie for sure. The price seemed very reasonable to me.

One thing that I wasn't keen on was that the person making the sandwich was making my veggie sandwich at the same time as making someone else's meat sandwich and wasn't changing gloves in between the two, so if you have strict dietary requirements or allergies it might be worth mentioning that...

If I could give this a 0 I would. After this owner changed the shop from subway to sandwich shoppe, he's been very stingy with the food limit. He barely gives meat and has a 3 sauce limit. He gives out portions like he's feeding 2 year old's. The owner has the worst attitude, he's so passive aggressive Its like he doesn't even want customers. He's rude to his employees and customers, I've seen him kick out paying customers for no reason and yell at children. He's very impatient when customers are trying to make a decision and get's incredibly irritated and arrogant. I truly would never step foot in this store again. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy even if it cost me my life. I wouldn't even feed this to my dogs. If you love yourself DO NOT...

Owners attitude could use a slight improvement.. heard him telling a customer to go 'check Subways prices and come back' when they only asked if spinach or avacado was available as their vegetarian toppings arnt much. Overall food was alright.. just hope the owner can smile more and not give customers silly answers to simple...
