Oh my goodness gracious, my taste buds are still tingling from the absolute culinary bliss I experienced at this shawarma joint. I had the shawarma wrap and can't even begin to describe how unbelievably delicious and juicy the chicken was. It was as if the gods themselves had descended from Mount Olympus and imparted their culinary wisdom upon the owner of this establishment.
But that's not all, oh no. The owner, bless his soul, was the friendliest and most welcoming man I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I swear I fell in love with him the moment he greeted me with a smile and asked how my day was going. Such a charming and charismatic fellow, I could've spent hours just chatting with him about life, love, and of course, shawarma.
But back to the food. The tanginess from the pickles and pink turnips danced in my mouth, while the velvety smooth toum and tahini got sturdy on my tongue. It was a flavour explosion that I simply couldn't get enough of. I found myself practically inhaling the shawarma, desperate to savour...
Read moreStarted working nearby and came to this shawarma joint and the man that served me was super friendly and polite. I ordered a large chicken shawarma and it came in this tiny box.... but don't be fooled. He stuffed the box with fresh veggies (lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, beets + many more) and then he stuffed the box with chicken to the point where the box could barely close!

However, for those that do not like your food salty.. you may want to stay way from the chicken shawarma. There was a fair amount of seasoning and for a guy who likes his food salty, I found it just a tad too much. Definitely recommend this local joint based for their...
Read moreI usually go to Liberty Shawarma, but after reading all the reviews decided to go here a couple days ago. The people who left all the 5 star reviews did so 100% because it was just cheap.
The food itself was pretty bad. I walk in and all the ingredients are always pretty much empty. 2 tomatoes left, a couple cucumbers etc. I ask for a chicken wrap and upon eating it it was full of chicken membrane and bone, which I kept having to take out of my mouth.
The inside also is really outdated inside. The women washed her hands, which was a shock to me considering the location, but ya definitely not good food. Only benefit here is that it’s dirt cheap. The drawbacks is that the interior of the place and food quality are also cheap, so you kind of get what you pay for.
I’d much rather go to liberty shawarma and pay more for good...
