Hub Burritos Freakshakes And Ice Cream — Restaurant in Toronto

Came here on a weekday 25 minutes before closing. When I came in the door, the girl working the shop informed me that she was closing early, that her manager had said it was okay for her to close up because she had to travel to another city. As someone who has worked in customer service for a long time, I truly believe this is not the proper way to run a business. After complaining, she said she would make anything for me if I still wanted it. I should have said no and left but I was so hungry and drove about 20 minutes to get here, excited to try their burritos for the first time. So I ordered one large and one medium sized burrito for my boyfriend and I but both ended up being the exact same size. The girl was in such a hurry making the burritos, asking me what toppings I wanted on the second burrito while still doing toppings for the first. I was already having a bad day and upset from the initial encounter so I wasn’t paying attention to the toppings she actually put on the second one and didnt realized until I got home and started eating it, that she messed it up completely. I also found it strange that the butter chicken was scooped from a container in the fridge and placed directly on the burrito cold. When my food was ready, the girl apologized profusely for the situation, as did I. But honestly, as my first time trying this place, the experience truly was terrible. The food probably would have been delicious, had I not been given toppings...

I came here and ordered in person one day after work as I was craving tacos. I searched the menu online and it looks promising. I ended up ordering their butter chicken quesadilla and jerk chicken tacos (see photos).

While the portions were great for the price, the food was just assembled in a way that caused a messy eating experience. The quesadilla didn't have much cheese in it so the toppings I had basically fell out as I ate.

The service was good as I was the only person inside, however it was slower than I expected because the process of making my order was being filmed and recorded for social media. I totally understand wanting to film the process for socials, but my food took over 20+ minutes to complete. With me being the only person inside, it should not have taken that long. I would suggest filming online or Uber eats orders since the people aren't inside watching it being filmed. I felt awkward just standing there watching them record.

Overall, I would visit again but I would definitely order...

I been coming here for a while now and was hardly disappointed but every time this one worker that works there (friday june 20th at 3 o'clock) she always make my food cold today my nachos where extra cold the ground beef felt like it just came out the fridge. I brought it back then she tried to put the food i touched and poked with my finger back in the oven which I found gross because it was pretty much contaminated. I had to tell her to make a fresh one. Just to get it back cold like the first one. I will come back as long as she not working that day. If she keep it up you guys will surely lose customers and she needs to redo...
