Today I went to this location and I swear to God I've never seen such unprofessional staff at a restaurant. When I walked in, it wasn't even busy, they had 1 customer before me and I had to wait over 10 mins to get my order taken. What for? Some employees were passing by the cash counter completely ignoring me and other people who were waiting to place their orders. What kind of customer service is this? If it was busy and they were understaffed, I would've understood but they got busy later on and they had enough people working inside. Another middle-aged woman was just roaming around doing absolutely nothing (at least that's what appeared to me). She looked like an employee/supervisor but was doing nothing to help other employees making the orders or to take customers' orders. She was ignoring the people standing at the counter too. Another customer who made a pickup order was complaining how he ordered ahead but his order was still not ready. And he mentioned how this has always been the case. I work at a fast-paced restaurant too so I know how things work. We get busy too while being short staffed and we know how to handle customers and their orders while being busy. I just want to say that you guys shouldn't run a restaurant if you guys don't have the basic manners to treat customers. I wonder what kind of training the employees got where they straight up ignore the people standing at the counter making absolutely no eye contact with them. If they had basic etiquette, they would've said something like: "I'm sorry, just give me a moment, I'll take your order in a bit" or "I'll come back to take your order" or "I'm sorry we are just busy in the kitchen, but I'll take your order soon". But no! They didn't even feel the need to make eye contact with the people standing for so long to be served. One employee even came to the cash counter, pretended to do something on the monitor and just left completely ignoring me (I was standing right in front of the cash counter), making no acknowledgement that I was standing right there. Okay let's assume, she didn't know that they never took my order, but she could've asked something like: "have you been taken care of" or "someone took your order already?". She never did that. These are basic manners and I can't teach you grown adults about that now. How do you guys manage such a big franchise with this shitty customer service? My sister came later on to place another order but then we decided to leave cause it was taking too long to get her order taken and she saw how the staff were behaving. My only request is please please learn to train your employees on customer service and basic social...
Read moreI would give this place a 0 star rating if I could. My past 2 visits went as follows: visit 1) ordered 2 combos with 3 salads on the side. They messed up the salad orders after a several minute wait. Visit 2) Ordered 2 big crunch combos, the cashier said it would take about 5 minutes max, since they were "almost done" preparing the chicken for the sandwiches, and asked if this was okay. We decided to wait. About 15 minutes later the chicken was ready, what happened to 5 minutes? We were then served with 2 severely different sized sandwiches, 1 was literally half the size of the other. I only realized this when I get home, so I called the store back asking if they felt that this was bad customer service after making us wait 15 minutes for 2 different sized sandwiches, and the lady who answered the phone replied with "not really" and that sometimes there are differently sized pieces of chicken, so some customers may get the "regular size" and others may get a smaller size. Seriously? Last time I checked, any other fast food restaurant anywhere has some sort of quality standard when it comes to portion sizes. All Big Macs are pretty much the same size, all footlong sandwiches from Subway are pretty much the same size. I should've been charged half the price of a "regular" sized Big Crunch based off the woman's logic from this location. I plan to follow up with head office and I will never be returning to this location again.
EDIT: followed up with head office and they agreed that the employees at this location were in the wrong. They also said there is no such thing as different portions for a Big Crunch and that they should all be the same size. They offered me reimbursement in the form of a free Big Crunch combo from this location. Due to a mix up with store locations/lack of communication from head office's end, this deal never...
Read moreI want to share what happened during my recent visit, because the behaviour of the manager was shocking and completely unprofessional.
I had placed a pick-up order and even called ahead. They told me it would be ready in 10 minutes. When I arrived after 15 minutes, my food still wasn’t ready and they told me it would take another 8 minutes. I stayed patient and waited.
While waiting, I showed the front desk staff a picture from my last bad experience (old, poor-quality food). The staff member was polite, apologetic, and genuinely tried to help me. He went to speak with the manager about it—but that’s when the problem started.
I could clearly hear the manager yelling from the back, saying things like: “We can’t do anything, just show him the chicken. If he wants it, fine, if not, it’s up to him.” She had no interest in listening or handling the situation properly.
When I confronted her and said I had heard everything, instead of addressing it respectfully, she started laughing at me. She mocked me, spoke rudely, and even told me, “Do whatever you want, nothing will happen.” She tried to hide at the back, laughing, rather than dealing with me face to face.
The front desk staff member remained respectful and apologetic, but the manager’s attitude was disgraceful. A manager should set an example for professionalism and customer service, not embarrass their own staff or insult customers.
Her behaviour made me feel disrespected and unwelcome. If this is the kind of leadership at this location, it seriously damages the...
