Krispy Kreme Café — Restaurant in Toronto

I have had the lady at the counter give me subpar donuts. They were smaller, and the icing was smeared and crusted. I believe because I wasn't dining in and bought only a couple donuts she thought she could get away with this. I also thought at first it was unintentional, but after the second time I realised she does this on purpose. I am super upset with this kind of crappy treatment and feel donuts such as these should not be sold without a customer knowingly agreeing to purchase lesser quality items. Who knows how else she cuts corners there to make a buck? Do they also sell stale donuts and try to pass off as fresh, drop a donut on the floor and give it to a customer, skimp on your latte, milk and espresso? I can only imagine what else they do to make a quick buck over giving a quality customer service experience. Stop selling bad donuts to customers...miserly woman. My coffee/latte and donuts are a highlight of my day....

The atmosphere felt really warm and comfy, kinda feel like “diving back in time”? Idk like compared to McDonald’s modern renovation ig, but went there later during the night cuz I saw posts about the Harry Potter donuts, they were a lil too sweet for my Asian taste buds personally, but I still thought the flavors were really interesting, like for example for Gryffindor they had biscoff crumbs, and the designs were also quite cool, they had golden stars and edible glitter on the sorting hat donut (got Gryffindor hh). The store is real,y easy to find, like you’d find it across or beside DuPont station depending on which exist you decided to choose to go out from lol. Also shout out to Shaila and Arun who were really patient and helpful (sorry if I spelled your names wrong :(, I wrote it on a note but not sure if i might of heard it wrong). Great staff and food. The staff was really patient and knew their stuff. The location is also really convenient, it's right on top of Dupont stn.

The one missing star comes from the store itself which suffers from being small and cramped.

There was a large construction tent inside the already cramped store making it hard to stand in line and maneuver around.

There was a few seats in the sitting area: one table for around 5 people, a solo table and 2 cushioned seats. There wasn't really enough room for all of the seating and one of the cushioned seats basically couldn't be sat in or it would block the entrance to the sitting area and...
