Worst place to have a meal. I have been here multiple times and everytime I had a very bad experience at this place. On one evening me and my friend came here to have dinner at around 8:00 pm and the manager told us that we can't dine in here because we are late, even though their working hours clearly say that they are open till 10:00 pm (Check images for proof). In adition, they let a white guy dine in after they refused to serve us. This was first experience that we felt like the manager is racist. On the second time, we came here in a group of four and the manager told us that each of us must order a minimum of $10 meal even though there isn't any sign supporting their statement. They told us that they have to provide us service, cutlery and we occupy a table & they can not afford that for small meals. This is the most stupidest policy I have ever seen in a restaurant. If you don't serve smaller meals than $10 then why the hell are there food items of $4.5 in your menu. By the way, they let some other people order smaller meals after us. Then I came to know from my other friends that they have been into same situations earlier. Based on this, I believe that they do not want Indian people to sit and dine in at their place because they think that, it affects their reputation. On top of that they told us that we can't share meals even if there are shareable food items such as biryani in their menu. I request the authorities to varify the policies that their outlets are making up on their own and we do not appreciate such racism at all.

Back in the day when I used to live in the Annex, this restaurant was one of my favourite spots in the neighbourhood. This joint specialized in Rotis filled with all kinds of delicious curries. My personal favourite is the Lamb Saag, which I would recommend to anyone trying out this place for the first time. I always settle for a mild option, as the staff does tend to "go big or go home" when asked to up the spiciness level. Roti Cuisine of India is an extremely casual restaurant, whith very simple tables and little to no decorations. Don't come here expecting to have a formal dinner with your colleagues, as you'l probably end up looking like a fool. I generally get take-out, and I would guess most other people tend to do the same judging from the number of bags they had lying around on their table tonight. I do think prices have increased since last time I came her; I paid little more than $15 for a roti, which I found to be a pricey.

We visited Roti Cuisine of India during our trip to Canada 🇨🇦 after seeing it recommended online. We ordered the Butter Chicken Roti and discovered a dish that felt uniquely Canadian something we hadn’t seen before! The roti was used as a wrap, filled with rich, flavourful curry wrapped in soft, warm bread. It had a nice balance of spice and heat, and I really enjoyed it. I’d definitely have it again! However, there were a few issues with the dine-in experience. Although the restaurant advertises itself as an eat-in place and has tables and chairs inside, it’s clear that it mainly operates as a takeaway spot. There were a couple of inconveniences: They wouldn’t accept our international cards or credit cards, so we had to leave and withdraw cash from an ATM. When we asked for water, we were told they don’t provide tap water because they're a takeout business - which contradicts their dine-in setup and advertising.

I used to love this place. I’ve been a faithful customer for 10 years or so, maybe even longer. The food is great, but the service has gone down the drain and I’m seriously considering not ordering from here any more.

It had been a minute since I’ve ordered from here because I moved out of the neighborhood. I was close by last night so I decided to order dinner to take home. Phoned in my order. They told me it was going to take 30min (longer than the 10-15min it used to take, but whatever, the food is good so I’ll wait). Waited outside until the quoted time and went in. They took my money and told me it’s coming up. After waiting a total of 1 hour, my food finally showed up. Meanwhile, a couple of patrons who show up to eat-in while I’m waiting are being told their food will be ready in 20min!?!? I wasn’t the only one as their dining room is now essentially a waiting room for hungry and disgruntled take-out patrons. I overheard a group of college students complaining about their plans being ruined for the evening after ordering their food on an app and having to wait more than 1hr.

This kind of service is absurd. They weren’t even understaffed. I get it when things get busy. Just be honest about it and let your customers know. They will probably be compassionate about it, maybe make some other plans but order again another day. When you lie to me over the phone, then to my face in order to take my payment (I even tipped generously), that tells me that you have very little respect for me as a customer.

Will not be ordering from here...

It was the BAD experience i ever had at roti cuisine of india ( at depont) . I am regular customer of this place . I often come to eat food with my friends and nobody told me that you have to pay minimum $8 per person . And i have my friend with me today who don't want to eat and they were not letting me sit with him and instead asking me to pay extra for him to sit. I asked the guy to call the manager so that i can talk to him. After 10 minutes one guy who was cook (manoj) says that he is the manager. But he was cook there . My only point was please tell me where it is written that you have to pay for sitting there as it was not the first time i came there and I never seen those people there before. Then the other guy came who was also cook and took the menu from our hands and say GET LOST from this place. And I told him IS this is the way that you talk to your customers and he said this is a private place so i can do watever i want not only that but he was suddenly started abusing us like terrible. This place is WORST , PEOPLE there don't know how to serve customers. This is the TERRIBLE experience i ever...
