A disaster from start to finish. No drink orders taken for the first 20 minutes, very rude reaction to the fact that we booked through open table, we waited 35 minutes for our bill and the dinner was extremely disappointing. The bread basket had old food caked into the material and the bread itself was just a large bun sliced into four huge pieces and wasn't even warmed up. As you can see in the picture they gave packets of butter which really doesn't match the whole restaurant experience. The food was okay but the parmesan on the table was the dry kind. Not even close to an authentic Italian meal.

Really fun experience. Last minute decision to try this place around 7pm. Chicken Alfredo linguine was freshing - it wasn't too salty or overpoweringly creamy and strong. The light taste was freshing and sat well in my stomach. Like, I didn't get that heavy-pasta-food feeling. Penne tomato with pancetta (don't remember full name) had really good sauce and the veggies were well incorporated. Boyfriend didn't like the crispy pancetta/meat as much but I did so depends on taste. All in all, will try this place again as everything on the menu sounded great!! 5 stars. Thank-you!!!

My husband and I decided to check this place out for a Friday date night. It is the true definition of a hidden gem! They start you off with bread, peppers and bruschetta. All very good. Just the peppers are enough to have me go back. Everything we ate tasted home made, fresh, and well seasoned. The pasta was made in house, including the parpadelle and gnocchi. The service was not the typical superficially polite and “extra nice” experience. But, if you ask a question or need something the hospitality shines.

Went here with two friends for dinner during Winterlicious. We came in at 7:45, there were only about four other tables present. We weren't immediately greeted at the door and we weren't immediately given water once we were seated though asides from those two mishaps, the owner is very kind. We were given bruschetta and bread to start.

For appetizers, we had the Polpette di Cingiale (wild boar meat balls), Cozze Alla Sambuca (fresh mussels), and Carpaccio e Frisse (thin cut roasted beet with poached shrimp ... salad). Good sized portions. The meatballs were juicy and tasted good but the mussels were heavenly. The Sambuca and roasted cherry tomato broth with cream that came with the mussels were to die for. Needless to say, my friend devoured every last drip of it. The table of two next to us both had mussels as well. A group that came in a bit after us tried to order the mussels but unfortunately, they were told that they had ran out of them.

For entrees, we were told that the Tagliatelle con Arragosta (homemade pasta with lobster and shrimp) was replaced with a lobster ravioli and that the ribs weren't going to be ready for another two hours (a shame because we arrived at 7:45) and that they were doing some sort of veal dish as a replacement. My friends ended up with the veal dish and the lobster ravioli while I had the Baccala (fresh cod). The veal did not look appetizing but it tasted alright to me, the lobster ravioli tasted good, and the cod was good but portion was really small. Though my friend said that the veal was disappointing and that the ravioli wasn't very good.

For dessert, we all had the Tiramisu and so did almost every other diner. It was absolutely delicious.

The two stars of the night were the mussels and Tiramisu. The meals were spaced nicely apart. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend...

Warning: only visit this restaurant if you want to feel like family. I've rarely been so impressed with an establishment... My wife and I were looking to experience the culinary delights of the Italian province of Umbria (in lieu of a vacation, which is quite impossible, currently). I saw that this restaurant specializes in Umbrian foods so I thought I'd give then a shout. Got to speak to Brenda and am unbelievably impressed. Not only did she and Chef Sylvia go out of their way to make us an extensive and PHENOMENAL spread, but they did it on a Sunday morning! But wait... there's more! We got a combined 6 dishes for us to share and experience. With the richness of flavour, good portion sizes and variety, I expected tk pay upwards of $200, when all was said and done. Not only did this feast come to just over only $100, but I and my wife are so incredibly pleased, this has now become our go-to Italian restaurant. Thank you, guys, for your attention and culinary love....
