La Rumba Restaurant and Lounge — Restaurant in Toronto

After the owner changed, I went there today for the first time for a beer. There was a live music and people were dancing. I just wanted to take a video of that good atmosphere and I did. After a while, the guy who introduced himself as a new owner and his one employee called me out to talk. The owner blamed me that I was taking the photos of the girls who worked over there. I opened my gallery and showed the video I took. he saw that I didn't take any girl photo or video. After that he said ok, if you took a video it is fine. But I really felt disturbed and left the place. Idk why and how can you blame your customers...

We went for lunch all the way to the other side of the city to eat Dominican food. I chose aquarela because they make my favorite beans compared to the other 4 Dominicans restaurants that I know around. I also love they offer chicken breast as I'm a picky eater. The owner is amazing he treats you like family. We ordered empanadas de queso, empanadas de res, ceviche mixto, pechuga a la plancha al limón con arroz y habichuela, mangu con queso y huevo. And obviously passion fruit. Totally recommended for lunch!...

Just ordered from Skip the Dishes, 2 dishes, Ceviche and Salpicon de Marisco. Ceviche was very disappointing, proteins poorly and randomly cut with very large pieces. The leche de tigre was just salty lime juice, overall this can't even be called ceviche. The Salpicon was WAY too salty, I even got bits of whole salty seasoning on the clams. The fish was over cooked, and the whole dish was very poorly prepared.
