Munzur Restaurant and Butcher House — Restaurant in Toronto

I had the pleasure of visiting Munzur Restaurant and Butcher House for the very first time, and it was truly a wonderful experience! From the moment you walk in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve been transported straight to Turkey 🇹🇷.

We originally came for the doner, but unfortunately it was already sold out – which only proves how popular it is! Instead, we tried the köfte (meatballs) and the chicken shish kebab, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic, rich, and prepared with so much care. The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned – every bite was a delight.

The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and friendly, which made the whole dining experience even more special. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and hospitality are so genuine and heartfelt.

If you’re looking for authentic Turkish cuisine in Toronto, Munzur Restaurant and Butcher House is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return – next time, I’ll make sure to come earlier to finally try their...

This was my second time visiting this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. We ordered the Adana Kebab (double skewer), which is typically served with a salad and cold mezze like Ezme. However, these were not served. Additionally, the Adana Kebab was not accompanied by the traditional lavash (Turkish tortilla) as it should have been; instead, it was served without any proper bread on the plate.

After finishing our meal, we mentioned these issues to the server. He admitted that he had forgotten to serve the missing items and apologized for not paying enough attention to ensure our order was complete.

Overall, the experience was poor. I wouldn’t recommend this place, as there are better restaurants where you can get the proper service and quality...

The delicious Turkish-style home-cooked meals (I can only find them here), the soups and kebabs are delicious, and the portions are quite filling. The small plates of appetizers and salads served with the main courses are delicious. The place is very clean and the prices are very reasonable.
