Good taco place due to its authentic flavor. They are very well served, so the price is not bad. I wish they had "carne asada", "al pastor" and more variety of tacos, also "cebollita asada". The place is poorly maintained (the walls could look way better) and in general it doesn't look super neat, but the staff is friendly and, honestly, they have the most authentic flavor I have found here in Toronto. They could do better but it is what it is. The "cuerito" from the "taco de surtida" was kind of weird for me. But in general, good salsas and flavor. I guess it pays off for a +40 min drive...

If you're craving for real Mexican street tacos, this place is a must-visit! The portion sizes are generous, with well-filled, double-tortilla tacos. No need to count the calories! The vibes are from a real Mexican street taqueria, so don't expect fancy place. Lengua and Carnitas tacos are the best. Next time I'll gave a chance to the tortas (same fillings as tacos). Areas of opportunity, the Jamaica and Tamarindo drinks, could be done with natural ingredients.

Delicious tacos! Great portions, fresh ingredients, and a very welcoming staff. I had the Suadero (brisket) and El Chilango (brisket and chorizo). I almost ended up buying more and more. I need to come back to try them all. Also, there’s an all you can eat tacos on Wednesdays from 7-10pm. I might try to beat the 14 tacos in 1h. Totally recommend this place!

I recently dined with some friends at la Taqueria and had an excellent experience. The vibrant atmosphere captured the essence of Mexican culture, and the food was outstanding, especially the delicious tacos. What made our visit truly special was our server, Daniela. She greeted us warmly and was attentive throughout our meal, providing great menu recommendations and ensuring our drinks were always full. Her friendly and prompt service enhanced our dining experience significantly. I highly recommend Taqueria Restaurante Mexicano for anyone craving authentic cuisine, and I look forward to returning for Daniela's exceptional...

Small non-descript authentic taqueria that is open late. Large portions and the menu has some typical proteins (e.g. carnitas) but also has some more adventurous meats (e.g. cabeza - cow's head). I chose surtida (carnitas & pork skin), campechanos (brisket & chorizo), and cecina (thin salted beef). All was delicious. There is a self-serve salsa station with more than just your mild/medium/hot salsa. Salsa was also delicious and spicy. Definitely will come back to try the other...
