Madina Halal Pizza & Chicken Wings — Restaurant in Toronto

I’ve come to this place a couple times before.. not bad pizza.. terrible terrible customer service skills… I called and someone picked up the phone.. I asked place an order for pick up.. The man on the phone said 20 minutes.. I set my timer to let me know when to leave.. I get to the pizza store… The man tells me my pizzas in the oven.. so I have a seat of course.. for another 15 minutes.. The man comes over again and asks me “extra large cheese pizza?”… I said no.. A large cheese pizza.. The man said OK… and walked away while I sat there for another five minutes… another man walks over to me and asks me…” can I speak to you over here please“… and the man proceeds to tell me we don’t have your number here which number did you ..let me see I think you called the wrong number.. I have two outgoing phone calls with their phone number that’s advertised on their counter and I got the number off of Google which I let him know.. I show him the phone number.. and he looks at me and tells me we didn’t get a call from you.. so I ask him why would I make that up and who picked up the phone and told me 20 minutes.. he walked away without saying anything back to me.. and started speaking a different language to the other coworkers... and just acted like I wasn’t there.. A customer turns to me Ann says to me … this place has terrible customer service … I don’t usually write reviews unless it’s necessary.. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome to just to grab a large cheese pizza.. and I think it’s absolutely ridiculous especially that I’ve gone there numerous times and every time they change the price on the pizza.. sometimes it’s $10 sometimes it’s $11 sometimes it’s $12.. it shouldn’t be this complicated and I shouldn’t of felt weird being in a pizza store to get food.. and it’s annoying that I had to sit here and write a review this long just because you don’t have any customer...

From the moment I walked in, I knew i had made a mistake but unfortunately I did not have a choice as my nephew wanted a slice of pizza. The slices that were on display were dry and unappealing. So, I asked if i can get a small cheese pizza made and I was rudely told no and to look at the board.

As i looked up past the grease and few other stains I noticed that their pizza comes only in medium and up. I ordered the medium and was yelled back Tain Dollars!!

The staff were rude to 4 other customers that walked in whilst i waited to get my pizza.

I finally get my pizza which was just par okay. The crust was a little burnt but it was edible.

The service staff needs to understand they are in a food business that relies on customer and customer service. Staff had no etiquette or soft skills. Unfortunately, people keep going to this restaurant because of its location being right in front of a busy mosque.

For the store: Please, learn some etiquette and treat others with some decency & respect. After all, we will ALL be questioned in the end for our behaviour...

This is the worst establishment in toronto, i dont know how the owner even does business with his level of arrogance and bad behavior towards customers.

I ordered pizza on uber eats for pick up. I went to the store and said, "Hi, iam here to pick up my uber order." The owner asked me for a uber number i showed him my app and he was still confused. He initially refused to give me my order and started acting very abusive and reckless. I took my pizza and told him i will let uber know of the incident and i would never buy anything from his store. Soon after he started swearing and yelling, he was scared i was going to get a refund from uber. I didnt get a refund and my intention was not to get my money back. Food wise the pizza isnt that great, the only reason i order her was because my dad use to bring me to the spot when i was yonge and havent tried it for years. If you ask me there are way better halal pizza spots in toronto. Do a favour and avoid this guy, unless your cool with handeling his level of arrogance. Just a...
