I love you so MOCHI - @marrymemochi . . . Okay so its say to assume we all have tried donuts & a few must have tried mochis too. But what if I told you @marrymemochi sells a MOCHI DONUT! What???? I cannot believe I am about to say this, but this is the first time I even tried a MOCHI DONUT! I know, I feel like I had been living under a rock for real 🥲 Thanks to @marrymemochi I now have tried & tasted these premium mochi donuts and there is no going back from here. They are absolutely delicious and full of flavour! My favourites have to the Sesame Chilli &&& Smores Amores & honestly speaking they all were pretty yummy! So you gotta try them && make sure you visit their newly opened Stockyard location (details below). You can really tell how much thought they have put into this place. It’s super chic, modern & very cute! I hope these photos do justice to how stunning this place actually is. Do I even start with the drinks? We tried their Pandan Viet Coffee & The Mango Strawberry Fruit Tea and let me just say they were both FIREEEEE!! Being a coffee person I loved the Pandan Viet Coffee as it was my first time trying pandan flavour and didn’t really know what to expect but OH BOYYYY!! This was AMAZINNGGG! Sweet but not too sweet and creamy — balancing the strong coffee (which slaps)! + I don’t necessarily go for drinks with tea but this day was an exception. It was so humid that I needed something to cool myself off & this tea was very DEMURE!!! It literally had real chunks of strawberries & mangoes too! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Safe to say, I LOVE YOU SO MOCHI MORE

Mind you, I had a bad experience with a different place that made mochi donuts - this was during the beginning of the pandemic, was turned off and never tried them again. Well, it's been 4 years so my husband and I thought..maybe we should give them another try.
The store front looked cute and appealing so that's what drew us in. Upon arrival, we noticed the wide selection and the donuts looked pretty good. We thought about 4, but were quickly uphold to 6, which is obviously the better deal at 6 for $26 versus about $22 for 4.
We tried some of their "Day Ones": Creme Brulove, Matcha Made in Heaven, Strawberry Marry Me and You Had Me at Chocolate
We also tried their "New Flavours": Sip Happens & On a Break
Marry Me Mochi has changed my mind about mochi donuts - I love them now (: they are moist, soft and delicious. You taste more of the donut in some of the lighter flavours (matcha, creme brulee) but can definitely taste the chocolates (Kit Kat etc.), so can't really say which I liked the most. I am a matcha fan so will definitely pick that again and always. They also did not have On a Break but offered to make it for us quickly, so it was warm and fresh!
We also tried their OG Iced Viet Coffee - strong and delicious, just like my husband likes. I don't drink coffee but took a few sips and didn't mind it.
As mentioned in another review, the store is beautiful but needs to be better maintained. It's so beautiful with the white and pretty lights! However, the teddy seats were dirty and you can tell they haven't been cleaned in awhile. There was one other couple eating but the 3 other floors/tables could have used a sweep/wiped down. I am chalking that up to, it was the end of the day and am hoping that it will be...

Order: Take out Large Viet Coffee No ice level modifications allowed. The cup was mostly iced. Taste: grainy texture, not the best flavor
In response to the reply. I never once mentioned Marry Me Mochi gave off "cheap". Granted my review was short and simple in which did leave room for interpretation.
I simply asked for less ice and it was a firm "no ice level modifications allowed". It would be nice had the server informed customer(s), as per your reply, upon the request -- instead of that line alone. I did want more coffee than ice but respectfully accepted my coffee without modifcations. I am quite familiar with Vietnamese ice coffee. I did not persist on my request because since it was my first time at this location, I don't mind tasting with its original specs.
I still stand by the flavor and texture of the coffee was not pleasant but drinkable. Many factors play a role in the end product of the drink. This includes the size of grinds, water temperature, pressure, quality of the phin filter, and/or the ice itself [dependant on how the ice is made and stored]. In addition, for the price of a large Vietnamese ice coffee, there are places in the city that would serve you plenty more for around the same price with the ability to adjust ice levels. From my best guess, Marry Me Mochi does uses a smaller phin size as for what was yield . Possibly a 6-7cm phin. There are other phins which ranges all the way up to 12cm for coffee drip. Anything above 12mm is with a pot bottom from what...
